This place lives up to the name. It’s very clean and close to the action. Onsite parking was key being so close to Thames to avoid any extra parking fees. Three decent sized bedrooms and a big open living space with kitchen.

We received the host’s access instructions one day before our expected arrival. They were clear and easy to follow, and we were able to park right in front of the cottage. We were gratified to find the cottage as cute as its pictures in the listing. It was immaculately clean and its beds comfortable: however, there was a strong musky odor that did not completely dissipate during our three day stay. The cottage’s location was very convenient with a small grocery store one short block away and a variety of restaurants close by. The cottage would benefit from receiving some minor TLC as several doors squeaked and some outdoor and indoor light bulbs were burnt out. Easy fixes.

The home was cute and comfortable. It's not immediately in the action of town but close enough to walk. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and the house felt clean. The couch and chairs in the family room were not the most cushy but fine enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here!

The host was very welcoming and the location is perfect! Big driveway to park and not have to drive anywhere. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping and the mansions. The place was very clean and spacious. I do not have a single negative thing to say about it. Will definitely book it again next year!

The actual location of the property was unclear. The address is Thames street but that is not where the parking or entrance is. When we contacted the owner for clarification, he said he would send the info 24 hours prior. We followed the gps directions for the address he told us - not 526 Thames - and finally found the unit. We tried the combination sent to us - didn’t work. Kept trying and finally reached out to the owner who gave us a different code that finally worked. The interior of the house is lovely and just as advertised. However, the entrance/porch area which looks absolutely lovely in the pictures, is not so lovely. There are 2 chairs but they are basically on top of the parking spaces and there is zero view - there are garbage cans, dumpsters and overgrown bushes. The listing says ocean view which would demand the price we paid and why we booked this unit - there is no ocean view. There is an aerial view in the listing but it must be from a drone because it shows the ocean that is not visible from the ground. Listing was a bit deceiving - but again, the interior was beautiful.

Adorable and clean, perfectly located right off Thames street. Surrounded by shopping and restaurants and a very short walk into the main part of town. The host Jack was extremely receptive and responded to questions within minutes. Will definitely be back and the kids loved it. Newly renovated and stocked well for guests. Thank you for a great stay!!

Great location off of Thames and a plus with 2 car parking!! We like to eat breakfast in. Kitchen is minimalist - dishes, a few pans, silverware, had to broil toast but no biggie. There is a keurig! As mentioned, bathroom light doesn't work. Additional pluses- laundry, lots of towels, comfy beds, cute decor. I would recommend this rental!

Perfect location- hopefully return next time for the festiival

Very clean, spacious, comfortable, condo. I tend to be OCD about arrangements, therefore, the owner Jack, was amazing, reassuring me all the way. We parked our car and walked everywhere. Restaurants were amazing especially Zelda, that is right next to our rental! The Festival closed most of the streets, making us so grateful we had parking. We were so lucky to have found a place in the middle of the shopping district!

Excellent location, nice and clean

We enjoyed our stay and all 4 of us slept well. Plenty of room for my girlfriend and I and her two 17 year olds. It is nice having a convenience store close by. The one knock I had is that there are no closet rods to hang anything. very odd. Also the light above the bathroom mirror does not work, but other reviewers have already mentioned that.

Host interaction was poor. The access information as not provided and we had to get it from Vrbo support (which was very responsive). The host provided no information re the apartment or the area and was not responsive to emails. The apartment appeared run down. Although towels were provide there was not shampoo, bath wash, etc so we had to go out to purchase them ourselves. There was no hair dryer provided. I would not rent this apartment again. I am used to much higher quality rentals from Vrbo.

Property is clean and centrally located to shopping and restaurants. Activities within walking distance. No lights in one of the bedrooms, needed flashlight on phone when it was dark. Coffee maker did not work. Owner contacted by email once prior to arrival with questions, no response. Owner contacted regarding lights and coffee maker by email with no response.

Adorable and immaculate home in perfect location

My family and I had a great weekend stay in this clean and stylish apartment located in the heart of Newport! It was exactly as pictured and there was plenty of space for us to relax while also giving us easy access to explore the town on foot. The beds were very comfortable and the smart TV loaded with streaming apps was a great feature. The parking was critical for us as we were traveling with a carful of kid/baby gear - but as some others have noted, others in the neighborhood have a tendency to use the spots even though they’re private. (We only needed one spot so it wasn’t an issue for us, but another car was parked in one of the designated spots the whole time we were there.) We had a great stay; our 4 year old cried when we left because she loved playing on the bunk beds so much. :)
