**First Floor — Kitchen, Living/Entertainment Area, Dining Area and Half Bathroom. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertop and renovated cabinets. Coffee and tea stations include AeroPress coffee maker, ground coffee (caffeinated), instant coffee (caffeinated and decaffeinated), creamers (in the refrigerator) and a variety of teas and sugars. Living room has a Samsung TV, charging station/console table and nonfunctional fireplace.

**Second Floor — Three Spacious Bedrooms. One king, one queen and two twin sized beds in each respective bedroom. There is a desk in the bedroom with the king sized bed and luggage rack in each bedroom. This floor also includes a full bathroom (walk in shower).

Great stay in Everett. The snow was melting and the basement flooded two days and the owners came to clean up both days. The men in our party were 6’4” so they ended up with many head bruises from navigating low ceilings in both stairwells.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia House! The house had everything we needed, was clean and centrally located to everything we had planned on our trip. Most importantly, the entire family talked about how well they slept and how comfortable the beds were. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Boston!

Summer visit to Boston and Salem

We had a great stay in Everett! We chose this location because it gave us easy access to both Boston (via a short drive to the T station) and Salem (by car) and accommodated our family of four plus two grandparents. It was as described in the listing and Linda and Glendon were communicative and responsive. Check in was super easy and it was by far the most well-stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in with everything we could have needed from extra blankets to kitchen supplies and cookware to laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Would definitely stay again!

Flooded basement

We enjoyed the stay. Except when it rained all night, the basement flooded. It would have been nice to know beforehand. The agents were good to work with. And the house was close to the places we wanted to visit.

The house was clean and attractive, easy parking. Everett is off the beaten path but close to our local family. Hosts attentive and good communicators. When I let them know the house was running low on toilet paper, they placed an Amazon order for more, delivered next day.

The property was very charming, very clean and comfortable beds. Had a lovely little outdoor space and the driveway was a bonus as the neighborhood is typical Boston area and very packed with vehicles. Only a couple minor ‘would be nice’ is if the downstairs bedroom had a dresser or vanity and there was no toaster, which may be a hazard issue… but no deal breakers by any means.

Summer vacation

Wonderful Stay!

My two sisters and I and a few of our family stayed three nights here. Linda and Glendon couldn’t have been nicer, more thoughtful,caring hosts. The home is clean and bright with up to date decor and accessories. Everything is labeled and organized so anything you need is readily available. The space is perfect for a small get together- both inside and out. We left with great memories and will book again when we are in the area.

Calm and minimalistic 2 story house

The house fit the bill with a spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, dining room, cute downstairs bathroom and efficient a/c! Upstairs has 3 large bedrooms with closets and a full bathroom. My only negative comment would be the Ring alarm sensors are everywhere made me question the neighborhood but are also oddly on the fridge and freezer doors too.

Thank you for staying with us and we appreciate your feedback = ). We have the Ring alarm system because we want to make guests feel safe and to ensure the safety of the house in general. The alarm is turned off during a guest stay and will be turned on after guest check-out. Most of these were actually installed when we previously lived there. The ones on the refrigerator and freezer doors are there to reduce energy waste as it will alert us should the doors accidentally be left open after guest check-out.

A Great Experience

Wow, so glad that I took a chance on this new booking. The stay from start to finish was a breeze. The house was clean and organized. The check in was a quick. The house has reserved parking which allowed for easy trips to and from the city. The area is quiet and private. My friends and I felt safe during the duration of our stay. The kitchen is completely stock, they provide complimentary teas and coffee. The TV provides access to multiple streaming platforms. There were board games provided for a fun night in. Overall the stay was smooth. Linda and Glendon were very responsive during the stay. I would book again, highly recommend.

Comforts of home!

We enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia house. It was convenient to where we needed to be in doing college visits and only a 15 min walk from the T when needed and 15 min from there to downtown Boston. The property was very clean, organized, and provided all the basic necessities like sugar, salt/pepper, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper as well as a gourmet coffee and tea station. Laundry with both washer and dryer with dryer sheets and detergent made it so homey. There were extra blankets and towels if needed, but we were fine with what was provided. The beds were comfy with cozy bedding. We were a family of 5 and were extremely comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4 for location and neighborhood was that the road noise somewhat kept me up since it’s the 2nd house in from the 2 lane road - but I am the light sleeper of the family. Communication with the owners was easy and helpful. Everything is there like the comforts of home. We highly recommend! Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!
