Michael’s place was just as described and he was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay! So much so that we’ve decided to stay with him again and again!
Nice place in a nice neighborhood. Many things to do within walking distance and the place is a great hub for activities. Good communication with host and place was just as advertised.
My friends and I really loved our stay at this unit. A great location between u district and capital hill that made for a great central location! The place was lovely and had an amazing view of the Seaplanes coming into land at Lake Union. What a great trip!
Stayed with friends for a weekend to explore Seattle. The home provided equal amounts of personal and communal space. Great neighborhood to explore with plenty of bars, cafes, and restaurants. Also easy access to the freeway.
We stayed here during move-in week at UW with our son who is attending. Very comfortable, clean and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed walks along the waterfront looking at houseboats and watching the seaplanes. We were only 1.3 miles away from our son’s dorm and we walked to the football game Highly recommend!
We came for my daughter’s graduation from UW. The setup was great for having my elderly mother, adult daughter and teenage son. Everything was spotless with high end fixtures, great kitchen. We rented a car and were basically 15 minutes from anywhere you might want to go in Seattle. The location is urban but very residential. You could walk some places but would probably want a car or to use the bus (it’s not near the link). Note: the master bedroom is up 3 flights of stairs, my mom is 81 and in good shape but avoided a lot of trips up and down.
The house was very clean and well stocked with everything needed. It was close to restaurants and the market while also being in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the kitchen and top floor are awesome. Michael was a great host and very helpful. I would recommend staying at this house and if I go to Seattle again I would stay here. This place is hard to beat for a trip to Seattle.
Staycation in Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle was perfect getaway for couple nights during housing transition. Very walkable with access to restaurants and South Lake Union. Close to DT Seattle and University area. Or, enjoyable great views and Olympic Mtn sunsets right from privacy of townhome. Ntm, primary bath view is exceptional for hopeless romantic and “sleepless in Seattle”!!
We stayed at Michael's townhome in the glorious Seattle summer and had a great time. We stayed here because we have friends that live nearby, but it was nice to be out of the hustle of the city center, and close enough to go to all the sights we needed. Michael's place was clean and modern with a well stocked kitchen, with more than enough plates, silverware and cups for our family is 5. There were plenty of extra blankets, sheets, and towels, and at least a tower fan in every room (in window AC unit on the top floor worked great). Just know that if you stay here, you have to be able to handle stairs: there are 4 levels to this townhouse: garage on the bottom, then two bedrooms on the second level, living area and kitchen in the third, and master bedroom on the fourth. Michael was a great host and always available during our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!
The townhouse on Eastlake was outstanding!! This is definitely a very high end property. The amenities are fantastic: incredible plush master bed, the lush master bath with views of the mountains, and perfect kitchen and living room. We loved the easy electric fireplace! Couch soft! Lots of linens, towels, shampoos/body wash, and toilet paper!! (A super pet peeve of ours when hosts can’t even offer this!🩷)
⭐️ Slight cons: ⭐️
1. There are a LOT of stairs, so carrying up groceries/luggage will be a task. (4 flights from garage)
2. AC issue: there was a brand new window unit installed, but the brand has a factory recall, so it only worked for a few minutes. This is an issue with the brand. If the AC had worked, it would’ve helped wit the warmer Seattle days, as the townhome got stuffy even w/windows and fans on.
3. Another floor would need AC unit as well.
4. Bottom BEDROOM w/futon too hard to sleep on. Teen boy said it got too hard after a few days and a regular bed would be MUCH better, and usable.
5. The mini additional room with pullout chair to sleep NOT FUNCTIONAL at all. Rock solid chair will not function as an additional sleeper. We didn’t use, but a simple full size bed would REALLY be better!
My daughter slept wonderfully on the couch with a comforter and pillows better than bed. It was very comfortable. Lots of blankets/sheets were provided.
Otherwise I would RECOMMEND this unit, it would just be over the top with my recommendations. 😀
