Wasn’t overly happy about the fact that there’s houses/ cabins in every corner of the cabin that clearly the advertisement indicated, secluded!!! must have a different version of seclusion than I have. Beds on first floor not very comfortable, past there years of use, but cabin is nice otherwise.

Fall Break Getaway

We all enjoyed the cabin. I loved the early morning sounds of the mountain inhabited, so peaceful. It was close enough to Dollywood. The porches were also nice.

Cute Cabin

This cabin is unique & clean. Some minor wear/tear on some of the doors, and a neighboring rooster that doesn’t hush (which can’t be helped). About a 20 minute drive to downtown. Overall I believe we would stay there again.

We really enjoyed the cabin. I would recommend arriving before dark. The roads up to the cabin in the dark were a bit scary. The cabin wasn’t as isolated as I had hoped. Overall the cabin was great and we really had a wonderful time. I would VRBO with Eden again but closer to town.

Family fun

We had a great time. The place was clean and very well stocked! Our only complaint was the side door lock was broken and the door wouldn’t lock. We pushed the couch in front of it at night and when we left. They sent a guy out to get it fixed the first day. He couldn’t fix it. We made it work though. It is a cabin well off the beaten path and so peaceful and quiet!

No prior communication about emailing ID for door codes. Neighbor was shooting guns, roosters from multiple neighbors, roads extremely narrow need to warn people Home is nice but over priced.

Basement floor dirty, centipede worms in basement with my sil getting bit/stung, top floor commode dirty, ground level rug in living room very worn looking, one end of drive impassable in a car. Made 3 calls to report this & was told a manager would call me back. Checked out on october 16 & havr recieved call yet!

Beautiful Setting

My overall experience was okay. The cabin is beautiful, and so is the location; however, the cleanliness was lacking. The toilet in the 2nd-floor bathroom constantly ran, waking us up. I agree with others that the placement of the hot tub was awkward. However, I don't know where else they would put it. I wish more towels were provided. The dryer took multiple cycles to dry and the kitchen could have been supplied better with additional cookery and cleaning supplies. Other than these few issues, it was beautiful beyond the dirt and those few other issues.

Unsecured and unsafe

The home was nice and for the most part clean. However there was a nasty rag left in the garbage disposal stinking up the living area until I removed it. The back/side door lock did not function at all and the slide chain supplied was damaged and unusable leaving all residence in an unlocked home. There are several neighbors to include a run down trailer where the residents fired their guns repeatedly. The upstairs toilet ran continuously until I repaired the valve as well. I also had to contact the owners for the code as none were supplied. Last thing is the 10am check out this is to early when people are on vacation. And when I attempted to contact the manager I never received a call back.

Great Out-of-the-Way Stay

This property is ideal if you want to get out of the hustle of downtown Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge. Great amenities onsite and a lot of room for upwards of 8 to 10 guests. I would definitely think about staying here again. The drive up the mountain, once you get off the main road, can get a little hairy. Much of the road is not wide enough for two normal size vehicles, much less two large SUVs or trucks driving different directions. I've driven mountain roads before so it wasn't that bad; but for the unexperienced - it could get scary. We had only one minor issue with the rental. We were there for five days/four nights. The first two days and nights had mild temperatures so the HVAC was not used/required. We actually opened the windows at night the first two nights. However, the temperatures dropped into the upper 40s/low 50s the last two nights and the furnace did not function at all. It blew cold air the entire time it was in use. We turned on the gas fireplace for the last few hours before we went to bed each night to warm up the rental. It would not have been worth the effort over the last two days/nights to get the rental agency involved. Besides the furnace issue - this place was perfect.

Expected better

We stayed with 8 people. While the listing sleeps 10, there is not 1 room in the house big enough to sit 8 or dine with 8. There is no counter space and the kitchen was ant infested. Pest control was called but it did not take care of the problem during our stay. We tried putting our food in totes and the ants got in them too. We are now dealing with ants in our cars while driving home. This is a major problem that needs to be taken care of before your next guest stays.

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin was beautiful! Plenty of room for our family. Nice hot tub. Love the porch! We spent a lot of nights out there sitting in the rocking chairs talking and hanging out. Overall, great experience!
