Walker’s Retreat is a three-bedroom, three bathroom, air conditioned mountain home that can accommodate up to ten.
You’ll find space for two vehicles in the private driveway.
Walk in the front door, and you’ll find yourself transported to a cozy great room with a vaulted, beamed ceiling, washed in natural light and beauty pouring through the many large, open windows.
If you feel like preparing a nice meal and spending the night together at home, there is a Publix Grocery just 10 minutes down the road. Set the table and cook your meal with everything you’ll need in the Walker’s Retreat kitchen.
When you stay at Walker’s Retreat you can pack light knowing that there is a washer and dryer waiting for you in your mountain cabin.
Your master bedroom is outfitted with a king-sized bed, nightstands with reading lamps, a dresser and a wall mounted TV for late-night viewing. You also have your own personal en-suite complete with a shower.
Your second bedroom features a full-sized set of bunk beds. If you’re not traveling with children, the bunks are a great size for adults as well.
Your third bedroom offers a queen bed with a nightstand and reading lamp, dresser and HDTV. Guests staying in this room will also have their own private en-suite complete with shower.
The third bathroom comes complete with a shower/tub combo and is a standalone bathroom.
You will enjoy complete and total privacy during your stay. We live in Florida and manage our cabin remotely, but have a team of wonderful folks nearby should you need any in-person assistance.
While gazing out at the Smoky Mountains and the sun-draped trees from your deck, you may forget the you are only 10 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway.
The Parkway is home to the Titanic Museum, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, MagiQuest (an amazing fantasy experience for people of all ages), the Tangier Outlet Mall, mini golfing, go-cart tracks, great restaurants and much more.
Nearby as well is the Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community, an 8-mile trail of more than 120 galleries, shops and studios.
Not to mention within 20 minutes you can reach both Dollywood (an amazingly fun theme park akin to Six Flags), and Parrot Mountain and Gardens, as well as downtown Gatlinburg, which is full of amazing attractions such as Ripley’s Aquarium, the SkyBridge and tons of restaurants and bars.
And just a short drive from Gatlinburg is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a wonderful land of wildlife, wildflowers and waterfalls to behold on your many different tours and hiking trails.
You'll definitely need a car to explore, and 4-wheel drive is preferable during our winter months, as the road can get icy and is quite winding and steep at some points!
