Location, Location, Location! This lovely beach getaway is just steps from the beach and boardwalk - a short 2 minute walk. 888 4th Street is a first floor unit. Since we are a first floor unit there's no struggling up lots of stairs with luggage, beach supples and groceries. Our four bedroom, two bathroom house comfortably sleeps 12. Great amenities include an inviting and spacious living/dining/kitchen area. This open and airy house provides lots of room for relaxing, visiting, and eating. The large dining room table is particularly perfect for game nights.

The master bedroom has a new KING bed and master bathroom with a full size shower. Second bedroom with NEW KING mattress. Third bedroom has queen bed for comfortable sleeping. The bedrooms have black out shades so you can sleep in if you wish. The last bedroom has two double/full beds. It sleeps four and has a large cabinet with toys, games and books. Kid love it!

Of course there is central air and each bedroom (and the living room) has a ceiling fan. The hall bath has tub and a huge counter. Both bathrooms are large and nicely decorated for your comfort.

We take great pride in making sure that our house is your home away from home. Our cleaners make sure that you have a immaculate house. We drive down many Saturday during changeover to check on things. We maintain our property with continual refurbishing and upgrades. Many of our tenants return year after year due to the many extras and amenities in this beautiful beach getaway.

888 4th Street is a duplex with first floor convenience and two entrances! Just think, no long steps to climb with luggage or groceries. Add an easy two minute walk to the beach and you have an wonderful place to enjoy your vacation!

You get a lot for your money when you rent our house! We offer many extras that will make your vacation even nicer and more fun. Make your packing easy and don't jam your car full of items you don;t need. Beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes are all included. Unlike other Ocean City rentals, we provided bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. (Tenants provide sheets.) The kitchen is fully stocked - all the usual appliances plus electric griddle, wok, salad spinner, crock pot, toaster oven, steamer and more.

We made this house perfect for families! 888 4th Street has a huge selection of children & family games, toys, books. We provide a pack 'n play, high chair, booster seat, bathroom step stool, night lights, outlet protectors and more.

The living room has a 42' flat screen Hi Def Plasma TV and Bluray player. Each bedroom has a TV and some have a DVD player. We have cable throughout and premium stations (HBO, STARZ, Cinamax, SHO and Sports Entertainment Package.) Password protected secure wifi included. Beach tags are free.

Parking this close to the beach and boardwalk is always an issue. We have off street parking for at least three cars - more if you have smaller cars. An outside storage room is available to you and houses the beach gear and bikes for your use. The hot water outdoor shower room has a nice shower surround and a locking door for privacy.

We also own 863 Brighton Place, directly behind 888 4th Street. We recently purchased a third house at 859 Brighton Place (right next door to 863 Brighton.) Both of these other houses are also first floor four bedroom houses. The VRBO listing numbers are 335221 and 601752. This is ideal for large families that need multiple houses!

We rent only to families. Must be 25 to rent. No senior week/prom rentals. Please do not ask. No pets and no smoking. Call or email for additional info.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this home. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Having bikes available to us was an added plus as well as the beach chairs and cart. We loved how close it was to the beach and boardwalk. We would highly recommend this vacation home and would stay there again. And the landlord Sue was great to work with and very responsive.

Great spring beach trip

We had a very nice spring break at this home. The property is very close to the boardwalk, but a few blocks from the busiest parts, giving us easy access to fun but still enough peace and quiet. The owners were very communicative and responsive to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and will look to come back in the future.

This is a beautiful home, located in a great spot. You can walk to the beach and boardwalk in a couple of minutes. Atlantic City Casinos are not too far, only 10-15 minutes up the road. The house is very comfortable and convenient. I plan on coming back, everything was great.

This is such a beautiful home and it was so perfect for our toddler, they had a few toys and a bunch of Children’s books! The bikes were wonderful and they had beach toys, but the weather didn’t exactly cooperate. The porch was perfect for relaxing and the proximity to the boardwalk made it easy to get the family up there. We can’t wait to go back!

Plenty of space; large bathrooms; outdoor beach shower and storage rooms were great. Used that clothesline EVERY day...very handy! Kitchen was well stocked and spacious as we cooked often and for many. AC was super and plenty of hot water for many showers all week. Quiet street lent itself to late night adult porch time! Would gladly recommend to others.

We stay in OCNJ every year and haven't found a property that we truly love, until this year! We would definitely return to this property. We like the layout and fully appreciate the cleanliness of the property. Bonuses include towels being available, LOCATION, overall amenities, ease of check in, responsiveness of owner, etc etc.! Only complaints would be not great wifi strength and the beds could be a bit more comfortable.

A quiet street with short walk to boardwalk. Owners take pride in their house and keep up with maintenance and updates. We like that they have a couple of bikes we can ride whenever we want. This was our second year and we plan to come back.

We love Ocean City! We have spent our summers here since we were children. We now have four grown children and four grandchildren. We have enjoyed many wonderful vacations at 888 4th Street and in this family friendly shore resort. Our daughter and her husband were married on the Ocean City beach in 2009. Our family stayed here at 888 4th Street for the wedding weekend and the bridal party got dressed here - an ideal place to entertain!

We're both retired teachers and have set up 888 4th Street with families in mind. We know what it's like to travel with children and we've tried to provide everything possible to ensure that you have a relaxing and fun vacation with your family.

Why they chose this property

Ocean City is simply the perfect place for a vacation! Families come here to relax, reconnect and have fun. We love this end of the island! Fourth Street is peaceful and quiet, but the boardwalk and all it has to offer is a two minute walk away. We love our early morning bike rides and evening strolls on the boardwalk. Our guarded beach is equally close. We think that this is the best location in Ocean City!

What makes this property unique

We offer many extra amenities. We have covered off street parking for three or four cars. Our outdoor hot/ cold water shower room gives you one more location to use when everyone wants to shower after a day at the beach. The large storage room is available to you and stores many extras for your use. We provide beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and bicycles. We have both adult and children's libraries, as well as an extensive video collection. We feature numerous family games, children's toys, puzzles and building/construction sets. We provide bath towels for our tenants. The 42' HD plasma flat screen TV and blue ray player in the living area has premium cable stations. Each bedroom has a television, DVD/VCR players and ceiling fans. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the typical offerings and enough extras to delight a chef. We want our house to be your home away from home!
