Living Spaces

The great room is the heart of this home and is where you’ll gather your group for time well spent. The upper floor position provides stunning views without ever having to leave the large, comfy couch, and the 65” smart TV will keep TV buffs and sports fans happy. Dual armchairs by the window create a cozy spot to curl up with a good book.

Head downstairs to find the rec room with a large sectional couch and another 65” smart TV. Kids will love hanging out here for movie nights — just don’t forget the popcorn!

WiFi is available throughout the property for streaming TV, getting work done, or sharing vacation pics on your socials. A dedicated workspace doubles as a charging station for all your devices, and each floor of the house features a washer and dryer to make light work of laundry — this is particularly handy if you’re traveling with children (or clumsy adults).

Kitchen & Dining

The large open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for your group’s designated cooks to whip up family feasts and light bites. There’s plenty of counter space for chef’s assistants to help with prep, and two dishwashers prevent the age-old argument of whose turn it is to do the dishes. A second refrigerator can be found in the garage so you can load up on groceries and always have tasty food and drinks on hand.

The large farmhouse dining table comfortably seats ten and is ideally situated for views of the action in the kitchen and the lake outside. On warm days, open the sliding doors to an expansive deck for sun-drenched brunches and decadent dinners accompanied by the cool lake breeze.

Bedrooms & Baths

Five bedrooms comfortably sleep 12 guests, and four bathrooms help avoid morning time ‘who’s turn is it in the shower’ disagreements.

The upper level is where you’ll find the first elegant primary guest room with a king-size bed and beautiful views. The attached en-suite features dual vanities, a tub, and a large walk-in shower. Whichever member of your party was tasked with finding the perfect vacation rental definitely gets dibs on this suite! A second guest room on this level also features a king-size bed and has access to a full guest bathroom with a tub and shower combo.

Head down to the lower level and you’ll find another luxurious primary suite with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The lower level also has a guest room with two bunkbeds which is ideal for kids (or kids at heart), plus a fifth bedroom with two twin beds. These rooms share a guest bathroom.

Outdoor Amenities

Summer Hill boasts plenty of outdoor space for guests to make the most of Wapato Point’s scenic natural surroundings. The larger upper deck is where you’ll find a table and BBQ that’s perfect for outdoor dining, and additional comfy seating is perfect for taking in the unobstructed Lake Chelan views with your morning cup of coffee.

Head down to the lower deck to make a splash in your own private hot tub. The tub is sheltered from the elements so it can be enjoyed during sunny summer days or cozy winter evenings.

If your group is heading to Summer Hill in multiple vehicles, you’ll be glad to know that there’s plenty of parking available thanks to the double drive and garage.

Other Things To Note

Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers are installed inside the property.

The Neighborhood

Summer Hill is located in Wapato Point Resort in Manson, WA which is a highly popular location for relaxing, fun-packed family vacations. The property is just steps from a shared outdoor pool and a large grassy field that’s an ideal size for kickball or a game of frisbee.

Wapato Resort provides access to sandy lake beaches and a whole host of activities including jet skiing, paddle boating, kayaking, and putt-putt golf. There are also tennis courts, pickleball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, and hot tubs. Guests are also welcome to moor their boats on Lake Chelan for free. Events are available daily and include activities for children, trout fishing, and tennis lessons.
