Wedgwood is one of Seattle's most livable neighborhoods, and this remodeled single-level rambler makes it easy to understand why. Hardwood floors throughout, a gas kitchen with quartz counters, a large private yard with covered gazebo, and minutes from Dahl Field and Matthews Beach. Whether you're here for a weekend or a week, it feels like home.
Inside, the bright open-concept layout flows from the renovated kitchen (gas range, quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, shaker cabinets) into a spacious living and dining area filled with natural light from large picture windows. Original hardwood floors run throughout, giving the space a warmth that's hard to find in a rental.
Both bedrooms are set up for a genuinely good night's sleep: a king in one room, a queen in the other, with blackout shades and quality linens. The bathroom has a full tub/shower combination. A dedicated desk and high-speed Wi-Fi are on hand for anyone keeping up with work. Full-sized washer and dryer on-site.
The backyard is a highlight. A large private yard, fenced on three sides with a rock wall along the back, gives you real outdoor space that feels your own. The covered gazebo has a dining table and chairs, making it easy to eat outside, have your morning coffee under cover, or simply sit in the yard and take it all in.
Getting around: The Burke Gilman Trail is a short drive away — one of Seattle's great multi-use trails, ideal for cyclists, runners, and walkers heading toward UW, Lake Washington, or Ballard. Dahl Field, a 15-acre park with baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a playground, skate park, and wading pool, is minutes away. Matthews Beach Park and Lake Washington are a short drive for days on the water. The Wedgwood commercial strip on 35th Ave NE has coffee, dining, and everyday errands nearby. Downtown Seattle is under 20 minutes by car.
UW campus, Seattle Children's Hospital, and UW Medical Center are all a short 10–15 minute drive — a convenient home base for visitors to any of them.
Highlights: King + Queen beds · Gas range & quartz kitchen · Hardwood floors throughout · Dedicated desk workspace · Large private yard + covered gazebo with dining · Full washer & dryer · High-speed Wi-Fi · Smart TV · Pack N Play available · Free parking

We had a host cancel on us last minute, and found this property. Hosts were helpful and very prompt in responding to questions. This place was perfect and had everything we needed.
We stayed here while visiting our nephew at UW. It was a beautiful neighborhood close to the school and restaurants we all wanted to eat at. Extremely clean, attentive hosts,,comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.
property was everything as advertised. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Much nicer and competitively priced to a nice hotel room but tons more room and comfort.
This house was absolutely perfect for our 10 day stay in Seattle. The location was safe and relatively centralized. The property had super comfortable beds and the kitchen was a nice large size if you choose to cook. I highly recommend this property for your Seattle stay!
We enjoyed our stay in this very clean property with nice amenities and thoughtful touches. The rooms were spacious and the house layout was comfortable. The location gave us easy access to the greater Seattle area and the university. There is a main street out front which adds some muted road noise but this did not interrupt our sleep. The hosts were very good about communicating and making sure our stay was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Very nice home with everything needed. Perfect distance to Children’s hospital for us to relax in a home while we went to the pre-op appointments for our son.
I stayed at this house with my husband and 13 month old baby. Everything described/listed about the house was as is, we had a comfortable stay. House was super clean and had everything we needed.
Our family of 4 was visiting Seattle for a soccer tournament and we had planned to extend our time beyond the team hotel and this house was perfect! One of the better rentals I’ve booked - very clean and updated and every light switch was labeled and actually turned a light off/on which is rare in rentals ha ha. The living room couch was comfortable, the newer full-size washer and dryer were great, and we loved the outdoor space. Also, all of the soap products were Bath & Body Works which was a nice touch! My husband and I also walked to the bar/pizza place on the corner - Fiddler’s - and it was super cute and had live music. Just a charming little house that perfectly suited our family. Would definitely recommend!
Located in Wedgwood, one of Seattle’s best-kept secrets, this home sits in a real neighborhood with tree-lined streets, great local coffee, and neighbors who actually live here. It’s peaceful, welcoming, and an easy place to settle in.
The remodeled rambler fits right in. Original hardwood floors add warmth and character, and the updated gas kitchen is designed for real cooking, whether you’re making a quick breakfast before heading out or gathering for a relaxed dinner at home. The layout is comfortable and functional, with natural light throughout.
Step outside to a spacious, private backyard with a covered gazebo, perfect for morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or simply unwinding after a day exploring the city. It’s rare to find this kind of outdoor space in Seattle, and it makes the home feel like a retreat.
You’re close to everything, including the shops along 35th Ave NE, nearby parks, and convenient light rail access, yet far enough from downtown to enjoy quiet nights and easy parking.
Whether you’re visiting family, in town for work, or exploring Seattle for the first time, this is a place where you can truly relax and feel at home.
We’d love to host you.
