The location was lovely...the view beautiful. The furnishings were perfect, everything a lodger could need. Comfortable amounts of space and lights everywhere a person would look for one. Our host was very responsive. We had a question about how to operate the heating system and she called us within a few minutes.

The location is superb and the view from the porch is wonderful. We loved the outdoor space/views and our kids enjoyed the pool table. The apartment is located in the basement of a large home, just so you are aware of where you’ll be staying. Neither bedroom has a window, which made my wife a little uncomfortable since there was no secondary way out in the event of an emergency. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our biggest issue was with the weird electric wiring in the kitchen that resulted in the breaker tripping when we used the microwave. There are signs saying not to use a specific outlet when using the microwave, and we never did, but when the breaker still tripped we couldn’t use the microwave or stove to cook dinner until someone came and reset the breaker in the main house, resulting in us having to cook using a plug-in griddle. Cathy was quick to respond to messages and try to correct the situation, it was just an inconvenience. The home is in a lovely neighborhood and we enjoyed watching the sunset each evening and taking leisurely walks down the street, as well as the quick drive to all the sites of downtown Seattle. Easy parking on the street with plenty of space to park. Very clean and nice to have laundry facilities as well!

The place was perfect for us and we will be back. We loved the deck and the views, and it didn’t hurt that the weather was fabulous so we could enjoy views out over the water from the kitchen, living room and deck.
