Best place I've ever stayed

The combination of the wonderful hosts that lived nearby and the beautiful surroundings of mountains and lochs was just incredible. A castle within a short walk and plenty of hills if walk .yowanted to hike.

Fantastic accommodation, great location, fantastic views, super helpful hosts

This lovely gouse is located on a fjord and contains everything you need. Low tide and high tide, sun and clouds offer wonderful views all day long. Eilean Donan Castle is a few minutes walk away. We felt very comfortable.

Fantastic

The cottage is in a fantastic location and leaves nothing to be desired. we were able to experience fantastic sunsets over the loch sitting outside. Thanks for the great time.

Serene Experience

We had a delightful stay at An t-Iolaire. When we arrived, the house was exceptionally clean and well-organized. Fixtures and furnishings are an upgrade to what is normally found in vacation rentals. The kitchen is supplied with what most would need to care for any meals prepared. Our hosts, Duncan and Shona were attentive and available while respecting our privacy. The location of the home was ideal for exploring the Highlands (Skye, Inverness, etc.). Being located in Dornie allowed us to experience living as locals in a quaint Scottish village.

A Jewel in the Isle

We are an older (75) US couple, traveling with our adult son on a bucket list trip to Scotland. This is the first place we stayed and it was fabulous! Just what we needed with two seperate bedroom areas and a wonderful view. The owners went beyond our normal expectations with plentiful information prior to our arrival and seamless check in! Communication was great and quick! We actually missed our flight from London to Inverness and had to delay our stay by a day, and the owners offered an additional day at the end of our stay! Who does that anymore? We forgot a small suitcase but the owners immediately called us arranged for us to come and retrieve it the next day.About the place. It is newly remodeled, modern, large view windows, large bathrooms, a walk-in shower, a beautiful and modern kitchen, comfortable beds and farm fresh eggs and bread. I had not one concern nor complaint about the place and would highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in einer herrlichen Region. Einfach zu Fuss zum Eilean Donan Castle zu kommen, bietet die Möglichkeit dies in den verschiedenen Lichtstimmungen zu erleben. Skye und die Halbinsel Applecross sind fantastisch.

Wunderschöne Tage...

... in Dornie, in fußläufiger Entfernung zum Eilean Donan Castle. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man die Isle of Skye! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht (und noch mehr) und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und gut erreichbar. Wir hatten bei der Anreise Verpätung wegen eines Unfalls und der Vermieter hat uns Tipps zu Ausweichrouten gegeben und das Haus beleuchtet, damit wir es im Dunkeln auch finden.
