Great location for exploring Skye and West Coast
Property was spacious, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. View over Loch was stunning. Great location - close to Skye and also great to explore west coast of mainland. Had an amazing stay and will definitely return.
Beautiful location stunning views house near perfect would have liked bath sheets not bath towels and super king duvets not two doubles on a bed.
Great property, great location
Clean spacious property with all the amenities you could possibly require. With a view to die for overlooking the loch and mountains. A perfect base to explore the magnificent Highlands and Isle of Skye.

Perfect house for relaxing, lots of space for everyone - we were a family of 7 adults and 2 dogs. The kitchen is very well equipped, we couldn’t think of anything that was missing. The garden is not secure for dogs but it is so quiet this wasn’t a problem. Ideal location for exploring the area especially the Isle of Skye. The midges were out, mainly after 6pm !
Excellent house - very well arranged for a really relaxing stay. Kitchen has all you need, including sharp knives, baking equipment and a top notch coffee machine. Preparing food at the island unit and looking across at the views over the loch through the two large windows were wow moments for me. The loch changes so much with the weather and time of day - fabulous to watch. A very quiet location and the house is elevated just enough to get the best vantage point. Beds were comfortable and showers excellent. TV was also set up well which kept the kids very happy. Location is great - close enough to Skye for all that it offers, but a welcome escape in the evenings from the tour buses and crowds. Would definitely love to return, but hopefully stay for longer than a week next time.
We enjoyed our stay at Lochalsh Lodge. The house was very well equipped for a holiday home and had great views looking over Lochalsh to Kyle Rhea. A good place to stay if you want a gateway to Skye. We watched otters in the morning and evening and some of us even saw porpoises. The smaller birds that live round the house are just as interesting as the ones on the Loch. There is a lovely woodland walk right next to the house. My dad is 84 and he managed well in the downstairs bedroom. He did spend a lot of time looking at the ever changing view and the busy water of the Loch, which he really enjoyed.
This is a house that would be good for all ages.
Use of a car is recommended but not essential as Kyle of Lochalsh is only 3 miles away with regular bus and train services
Local village Reraig one mile with hotel and small supermarket. Kyle of Lochalsh three miles large supermarket, bank, pharmacy, local shops
