We welcome seasoned primary bookers/travelers aged 25 and over and their young families in this truly amazing family home! Groups largely consisting of those close to or under 25 or living in the local area are not able to rent this home. The home has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, sleeps 12, has a South facing pool/spa (hot tub) with water views. It is a short walk to the Clubhouse! The home is perfect for a large family or multiple families vacationing together. There are two living areas so groups can enjoy different types of entertainment.

Child Friendly:
For the little ones, there is a Pack-n-Play (travel cot), highchair and umbrella stroller. You will also find children's plates, cups and utensils. * There is also a Play Station 3 games consul with games and the Games Room!
Dining Room:
As you enter this professionally decorated resort home, you will be greeted by the spacious open concept entryway and dining room. The dining room has a large dining table that seats 8 and leads to the kitchen.
Game Room: This home also features a Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, and Pub-Style seating. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for a quick snack to a large meal. Overlooking the breakfast bar with two bar stools is the spacious living room and a breakfast nook that seats 4. Laundry Area Washer (with two sachets of detergent to get you started), dryer, iron and ironing board. Living Room Has two sofas, a large 60" flat screen TV, ceiling fan, sliding doors leading to the pool area. Parking There is parking on the driveway for 2 cars. If additional parking is required, you may park on the street but please ensure you park within the newly painted white parking lines. Pool Area This home Features a large south facing Pool and Spa (Hot Tub). There are 4 loungers on the extended patio area as well as an outdoor dining set for 6. There is a hand rail for the pool and the spa. Some of our guests have mentioned the beautiful sand hill cranes and other exotic birds flying around in the backyard!
The Retreat (Upstairs Living Room) This second living space is perfect for relaxing. It has a large sectional couch and a massive 70" flat screen TV, ceiling fan, and a Play Station 3 games console for your enjoyment! Solterra Resort * Luxury Clubhouse and Cabanas * Free Wifi * Resort style, heated pool with children's pool, water slide and lazy river * Outdoor recreation areas * Children's playground * Tennis Court * Fitness Center * Hot Tub/Spa * Poolside Cafe/Bar * Gated community (24 hour attendant) Upon arrival, you will find an initial start up of supplies for your use. Supplies provided are: * 1 x roll of paper towels * 1 x new dish sponge * 2 x dishwasher tablets * 1 x small dish soap * 1 x trash bag per bin * 1 x toilet roll in each bathroom * 2 x sachets of laundry soap * Small hand soaps in each bathroom * For all of your other needs, there are grocery stores within 3 miles (Publix, Aldi) * In addition to your groceries, we highly recommend purchasing additional items to the startup list above - especially extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
*Please note that from September 01, 2023, Solterra Resort has introduced a new access fee for guests who may wish to make use of the community facilities and pool area.
The use of the facilities is optional and so the charge is only applicable for groups who wish to make use of the facilities at the resort center. The fee, paid on site to the resort center directly is a one-time $35 total for groups of 1-12 guests or $45 total where 13+ guests are staying. This is a one-time charge for the entire stay and is paid on site to the resort itself. The charge is applied by the resort, on-site to any guests staying at any home booked at Solterra resort however booked but only where a group wishes to use the resort area.
Of course, in such a well-appointed home, with a private pool, loungers, shaded lanai, and space for all the family, the choice of going to the resort center is entirely yours. Either way we know you will have a fabulous stay at our home in Solterra resort and look forward to your stay!

Overall good experience and house accommodated our family well. We had 12 in our group including 9 adults and there was plenty of room. Pool took until second day in our trip to warm up but once it did, was very nice and warm! Host responded to any of our needs or request. Our entrance code did not work to get us in at check-in but host team worked diligently to get corrected for us in timely manner.

Property is in a beautiful location with plenty of space around it and overlooking a huge lake with plenty of wildlife.The property itself was ok, it is in need of some updating, especially headboards that fit securely onto bed frames, general decoration including curtains in the downstairs living/family room. The property was surface clean but could do with a real deep clean, particularly in the bathrooms where mould is showing. We also suffererd with multiple bites which mainly occured during the night whilst sleeping, leaving us with suspicion of bedbugs, but, we cannot 100% confirm this. We had a few problems with tv remotes and also the front door keypad not working. Although I reported it to the management company immediately, unfortunately a few members of our party were locked out for approx 2 hours. However, it was agreed, due to this inconvenience that we could have a late checkout of 1pm on our day of departure. Unfortunately, the cleaners were not made aware of this & turned up to the property at 10am. To summarise, large property ideal for families in a lovely location. However, a deep clean is necessary on beds and bathrooms. We have stayed in many properties in Solterra previously which were much cleaner and well furnished than this, so we wouldn't stay here again. decoration and

Good location for price
The house was as expected and the price was great for what we got. It suited our needs perfectly for our 10 person family. We had dishes, a nice kitchen, and the private pool was great for our kids. The host was also fantastic at answering questions and getting back to me.
Some areas that were not expected:
The neighborhood looks kind of new, but it is badly managed. The daily trash pickup was horrible during our stay, as it looks like trash pickup did not happen in the entire resort the first couple days we were there. This led to trash being everywhere. There was even a couple houses (including ours) that had an egg or two thrown at them. It appears that the resort is not managed well either… the slide and lazy river were not open the days we visited, and the staff at the bar was rude.
It appears our listing in vrbo disappeared, so the price of the BBQ grill was more expensive, and the grill we got barely cooked anything, even with the gas turned up all the way. I don’t recommend paying the extra money for that.
If staying here again, I would also pay the extra money for the pool heat, as the hot tub won’t be heated without it.
A couple quirks we had were the fridge didn’t have any ice the first day because they empty it out after each guest. That makes sense, but it would have been nice to know that in advance. One of the stovetop burner knobs was stripped too, so we cooked with the three available. There was also no warning about the pool door alarm, which the host was able to help us navigate better during our stay. I would recommend a griddle too, but no big deal.
Barring those things, we enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed being not that far from the Publix and saving money by cooking our breakfasts, dinners, and snacks. The updated checkout procedures were great, as the old ones originally sent seemed overly strict. The management or listing change made things a little confusing, but the host was a huge help.

We do provide a Virtual Welcome Book to all guests prior to check in which can help with planning and how things work at the house. We also send notices out prior to arrival about how pool heating works and do you want to opt for heating, etc. We make every effort to keep you informed about options for your vacation home. Pros: The house is beautiful and very clean.Cons: the management company was very subpar with communication. To the point I had to call VRBO and even then, they did not pick up even VRBO's phone calls. Check in was very frustrating due to them not communicating. We also paid to have the pool and hot tub heated and upon arrival it was freezing cold. They did not send out a technician until Wednesday which was day five of our stay to fix the problem. We only had two days that we were able to use the hot tub and pool. They did not want to give a reimbursement for the days we could not use the pool or hot tub, just kept thanking us for our understanding and then they finally offered only for two days and then four when we were out five days for the use of the hot tub and pool. We had to again contact VRBO which again tried to call them with no success. VRBO ended up giving us the refund for the five days. I was glad that everything was documented on the app correspondence between the management company and myself. We have rented many homes in the past, but I would avoid re-renting from this management company. (Shine Villas)
This house is on a lovely lot overlooking a lake. It is large and can accommodate a family nicely. The pool and spa heater warmed the water well even though it was very cold. Overall this house provides good value for the area. I would stay here again if I’m in the area.
Our stay was great. Home is in a great location. Home was spacious and accommodated my whole family. Check in at the gate was my best experience in an “Orlando” Disney Trip thus far.
The pool area was comfortable and quiet. The little ones jumped in every evening when we returned home.
My only complaint is cleanliness. Whom ever you have as a housekeeper between stays are truly only surface cleaning. They aren’t truly checking things between guest. And it’s something you definitely should look into.

I rented this home for 2 weeks and it was absolutely filthy. Upon arriving I immediately called the property manager and complained and they replied that the cleaning service had been there and refused to come back. We had cockroaches in the kitchen during the entire stay even after the exterminator came twice to spray. We finally moved the refrigerator to find the floor so filthy the cockroaches were crawling all around the food and debris. No wonder we even had a cockroach in the refrigerator! We bought cleaning supplies and spent 2 entire days cleaning the house to make it habitable. We had to empty all of the kitchen cabinets and drawers and wipe them out because they were so dirty. All of the white dishes are covered in grey marks and scratches that the flatware leaves on them. We had to purchase a frying pan because all of the cookware was gross and worn. The walls are full of black marks and the entire house should be repainted. The carpeting was filthy. The stair railing was sticky and filthy and the paint is peeling off. We had to mop all of the hard surface flooring. We covered the furniture with sheets so we didn’t have to sit on it because it was so dirty. We even covered the master bed headboard because it was fabric and covered in dirty spots. . Master bathroom toilet seat was broken, toaster was broken, very poor supply of dishes and glassware for the size of the home and the amount of people it can accommodate. We bought upholstery cleaner and scrubbed all of the bar height chairs in the kitchen because they were covered in food stains. When we arrived we had to wash all of the bedding because there were pee spots on the mattress pads. That’s when we discovered that the washing machine agitator was partially broken! Even the pool deck was gross and dirty all around the perimeter of the screen area. We paid extra for pool heat but the pool never got as warm as we would have liked. At one time I’m sure this was a nice house but it has been heavily used and needs updates and a different cleaning service. We actually left this house cleaner than when we arrived due to all of our hard work. In previous years we have stayed in other homes in the Soltera resort and have had pleasant experiences. Take my advice and don’t waste your money on this property! I still have pictures of everything for evidence of the poor condition. This home doesn’t reflect the pictures on the listing and the management company would not reimburse anything!

We enjoyed our time at the house. We had issues with the heater in the hot tub taking very long to heat but they sent maintenance over to check it. The house was nice and large. Could have used a deep clean. Walls are dirty and dust buildup on floorboards and blinds. We could have used more than 3 garage bags for a week for a large group too. Overall, we liked the house and would recommend it.
We absolutely loved the house. Plenty of space and plenty of beds. The hottub was a nice way to end the day, the kids made good use of the game room, and they also LOVED having their own pool. Will definitely stay again! My only complaint is in regards to the entry gate to the community: they have two lanes-- one for owners, one for guests-- and guests who already have passes have to wait behind guests checking in, which backs up traffic on the main roadway outside of the resort. 5 stars!!!

Kim is a fantastic host/manager who responded immediately to our questions, and the home has a lot to offer. Our family of six adults enjoyed playing games and eating meals in the pool area, watching movies in the large family room upstairs, playing in the game room and relaxing in the kitchen living room area. Unfortunately, the check in process and entrance into Solterra Resort is horrible, and we will not stay at Solterra again. We waited in a traffic line for over an hour to enter the resort even though we already had our pass., and the traffic officer hired to help was rude and incompetent. One entrance can not accommodate all of the guests in this huge and still growing resort area. We would love to see this problem corrected, so we could stay here again.

Update on gate access for future travelers: It is true the resort is a gated community. Gate access this past Memorial Day Weekend was difficult with long lines. The good news - the resort did take notice and change the check in process to speed up access to the resort. I will recommend to anyone reading this - if you staying with GreenWay Property Management or any other home on the resort, be sure you are registered by your host and you have the correct documentation needed for entrance.
