Found the house very clean & updated. Location was close to the MGM in Detroit. Short drive to the Ford Museum. Plenty of restaurants near by too. We will book again next time we go to Michigan.
What a lovely home! Having traveled from NYC to Detroit for a weekend, I felt quite at ease upon arrival. The location provided convenient access to and from DTW, with only a 15-minute journey. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to the Motor City.

I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very cozy and I loved the decor. The only thing I would say is that the tub/shower should be recaulked but other than that I would stay here again when I come back.
came to detroit for the day for a concert and needed a place to stay afterwards. this place was great! it was easy to get in with the code provided, plenty of room for just my partner and i, it was clean and the backyard was very peaceful. highly recommend :)
We went up for detroit supercross and found this place. We thought it was absolutely beautiful it looks just like the listing. The neighborhood is very nice and there is so much to do in the area. We are definitely planning on going back in upcoming years!

The communications were excellent, with the host answering questions quickly and giving explicit instructions. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is very cute. Inside was clean and nicely furnished and decorated. We were four adults so, on Brad's advice, we brought two folding chairs with us. The Nespresso machine was well stocked and greatly appreciated!
Our stay was clean, cozy and welcoming. Place was very clean and there was everything we needed there - towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, etc. Check-out clean up was really easy and understandable considering there is a house manual for all things - T.V., internet, etc. I just wish our stay was longer because the place was so cute and cozy. Host was great too, kept us in the loop about any updates that pertained to us. Highly recommend!
I honestly reqllymliked the house, it was clean, but the toilet could have been cleaner. A new sponge for the dishes would not go amiss either. I did wonder what happend to the shower hand held part, but other that that it was nice. I will be back.
The home was clean and the host was responsive. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos and suspect a wide angle lense was used. Location of home is ideal for grocery shopping, restaurants and getting on freeway I-94. Telegraph, a major road is nearby. The neighbors are quiet. Do not plan to have a "family dinner" as the kitchen/dining area holds 2 people comfortably and cooking utensils are minimal. I would feel cramped if I had to share this home with three grown adults. But, this is something that is individual. No chest of drawers available in master bedroom. Shelves available in the closet of the smaller second room. I enjoyed sitting in the back patio area overlooking the backyard. Property hosts a rabbit, chipmunk and squirrels in addition to robins, swallow and a cardinal. I enjoyed feeding them with whole grain bread with seeds and popcorn. Do not recommend Pias, a family owned italian restaurant on nearby Ecorse Road. The kids own it now and the service and food are at best "poor". Plenty of other good restaurants are nearby or a short drive to. This is a great place for a short stay.
Our first non-hotel stay. Was nice for up to 4 people & would stay again. Decor modern & exactly as pictured. Neighborhood quiet and safe. Small dogs next door, but barking was very minimal & daytime only. Comfortable couch (large enough to seat four). Limited dining seats (only two in-kitchen, but two more on patio). Recycling available (trash can/ green lid) but didn’t know until checkout email.
Many nice touches (clean full-size rfrigerator, espresso machine, coffee machine, laundry, cleaning supplies, extra trash bags, can opener, toaster, hand mixer, salt/ pepper, blow dryer, broom, vacuum, microwave, ceiling fan in living room and one bedroom, and portable rotating fans in both bedroom closets). Easy access code on front door (no keys to keep up with or lose). All the expected items of a hotel were present (towels, hand towels, wash cloths, soap, body wash, shampoo/ conditioner, a roll of toilet paper per day of our stay, hangers in-closets). A collapsible luggage rack would be nice to have. Brad (manager) was frequently in touch through the Vrbo app, checking in to make sure our stay was going well, which was nice.
The Febreze scented plug-ins were a little strong and on my next trip I would unplug them during my stay, as this is something I’m not used to. The hot water went out the morning after we arrived, but I was able to get the pilot light on the water heater relit and we were back in business.
We had a very nice time. The owners were prompt with any questions we had, and we were nice and close to where our events were in Allen Park. Much better than a hotel. Will definitely book again if in the area.
I'm Brad. I live here locally in the Detroit area with my wife and daughter. Why they chose this property
As someone who used to travel frequently for work I often thought about how nice it would be to have a little more space during stays with a convenient location - especially those that lasted longer than a couple days. This property offers comfortable and accommodations with more space than hotel rooms at comparable if not better pricing.
