Loved our stay, again! The large deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous lake views. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We used the kayaks this time, and the brand new dock is a fantastic addition! Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible location. Very responsive and proactive host. Highly recommend for a family vacation get-away! All the amenities you need. Cosy cabin, spectacular deck and view, dock, fire pit, well-appointed kitchen.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday here for a week and we loved it! Great location, wonderful views, spectacular sunsets, very clean and cozy! We would love to come back and stay here again!

Great little cottage on a very private lot. Communications with the owner was top notch, the cottage was super clean and comfy. The lake was not at full capacity, even on Memorial Day, and the private dock was fully beached. My main reason for renting was to fish as many hours per day as possible, but I had to do so from the bank. Not the owner's fault that the water was not up, but I made the most of it. Loved the quiet seclusion and the overall experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places we’ve ever rented. That’s why this is our third year renting it. The home sits right on the lake, and the huge decks bring you so close to the water that you feel completely immersed in nature.We especially loved that the hosts provided kayaks, which made exploring the lake so much fun. The beautiful shaded sitting area was the perfect place to relax, and each evening we enjoyed watching deer along the shoreline while taking in the breathtaking sunsets over the lake.The house itself was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. It was also conveniently located just minutes from the marina, making it easy to get out on the water.If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway with beautiful scenery, thoughtful amenities, and an exceptionally clean home, this is the place. We will absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! We spent most of our time on the fabulous deck that overlooks the water. It is so peaceful and had beautiful views. It is also in a great location, close to stores and near the marina. We have already booked again for next year!

The hosts did a great job stocking the place with just about anything that one might need. The view of the lake was breathtaking, it was approximately a 150 to 200 foot walk down to the lake. The A/C went out on us once but the host took care of that problem immediately. It's an older house but the inside is quite nice. A dishwasher would have been nice, but we knew ahead of time that there wasn't one. The deck was huge and relaxing, could maybe use a cleaning. There is one bathroom which was small but adequate. No neighbors on either side, so privacy is at a premium! The lake water temperature was enjoyable, we spent a lot of time in the water. Only 5 minutes or so from the Marina, where there is also a place to dine called Off the Hook. We enjoyed their food and entertainment twice.

Perfect!

We loved everything about our stay! The view is absolutely gorgeous. The location is off the beaten path but close enough to be able to run to town for whatever we needed. There's a marina right across the bay for pontoon rentals that we went through for a day on the lake and it was perfect. I highly recommend a stay at this cabin!

Relaxing lakeside getaway

Cabin was perfect! Well appointed with everything you might need and less than 10 minutes to grocery store. Marina across the lake has a restaurant, too! Kayaking was super fun and the onsite laundry was much appreciated! Our favorite place was the large deck. It’s partially covered so even on rainy days, the deck is the place to be! Thank you!!

Traveling with our dog and to have direct access to the lake so she could swim was our goal. The owner is very responsive and resolved a problem with our check-in immediately. This is a very private cottage on the lake with woods on both sides of the property. It is modest, but wow what a sunset view from the back deck overlooking the water. Fun fact, the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) releases Cherokee lake water levels to manage the mosquito population. I think we had witnessed 1 mosquito the whole visit. Water craft travelers should check in with owner about the lake level to be sure the new dock is floating. The house was clean but the outside deck is due for a scrub, but no big deal. What I liked was the relaxed feel of the host allowing our dog to stay without the endless list of dos & don'ts that many other owners demand. It really allows for a relaxing stay.

This lakehouse was the best rental we have ever found w/seamless check-in. The owners have thought of all the ammenities, with all the comforts of home but fearuring and focusing on the lake life. The photos and description don't even do it justice, it's even better. The accesibility of the lake on your own BiG private dock w/private beach were priceless. The HUGE deck overlooking the water was where we spent 90% of our time when not lakeside swimming floating or sitting on the dock, or kayaking. HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you from a couple of Hoosiers who needed a calming, relaxing, easy respite- it had everything we could have asked for, and more.
The deck overlooking the water is spacious. Coffee mornings, dinner evenings, a balance if sun + shade and even during rainy times we sat here. SO many different chairs to choose from + a swing!
From our dock....so relaxing g watching the boats come + gon from marina just across the cove.
We kayaked almost daily! Lake is clean, accessible beautiful, placid, non-busy AND HUGE! *(recommend water shoes)

Amazing Views

Awesome property with amazing views and tons of wildlife. My wife and 2 kids spent 5 days at the cabin, we loved it! We have seen numerous deer, turtles, ducks, all kinds of birds and an eagle. The cabin is fully stacked with everything you need from spices, coffee maker, extra towels, plenty of kitchen utensils and an AMAZING outdoor shower. The deck is huge with ample space for the entire family with a beautiful view of the lake and pretty sunsets. The property is exactly as described in the listing. Loved our entire trip. Thank you!

This place is amazing! So clean. So welcoming. Just fantastic. The check-in was easy. It says dog friendly, but that's only part of it. They provide towels just for the dog. Our German Shepherd loves water. She spent most time in the water playing, splashing, "biting" the water. She loved it. It appears certain parts of this location have been recently remodeled as everything seemed so new and fresh. Evenings on the deck were wonderful. So peaceful. We saw so many deer running on the property. Just a fantastic stay. We'll be back...

Pros:*Overall excellent stay for the value. *Back deck and boat dock hangouts were the highlight for the fam. *Very comfortable sun bathing reclining chairs on-site. Sunsets were phenomenal. *The outdoor shower was my escape. *We rented jet skis one day and a pontoon boat another day. Having the boat dock as a rendezvous pick-up/drop-off point was nice. *The kayaks and vests provided were also well-kept and fun for the fam. *View of lake from living room window is etched in my brain. *Kitchen stocked with all necessary items for cooking. *Communication with host was prompt and courteous. *Would definitely stay again. Top notch family memories were had here. Cons:*Refrigerator not being inside (but on the screened-in, enclosed front porch) took some getting used to but turned out to be manageable and understandable because it freed up limited kitchen space. *the front exterior could use some attention - landscaping/pressure washing
