Pamela's Paradise! East End Historical Home
WELCOME TO PAMELA’S PARADISE

The house and grounds were kept very nicely. We had everything we needed during our stay. There was plenty of room and sleeping arrangements. We were there at the hottest time of summer, and it is a historic home, so as expected, it was hard for the AC to keep up.We will definitely try to stay again!!

So glad you enjoyed your vacation and we would love to host you again next time you’re in town!
Beautiful home nestled between other beautiful properties. Very well kept, comfortable beds. One big hiccup was a flea infested backyard. Could not enjoy the super cute courtyard at all. The owner was very quick to get an exterminator there, but one treatment wasn't going to take care of it. That was disappointing, but other than that a fantastic place.

So sorry those suckers popped up during your stay. We are happy to let you know the sand fleas are gone. Our pest control manager said the sand fleas have been very aggressive this season but we were able to eradicate them successfully. Hope you will come again and have a better backyard experience.
Beautiful home in the historic district of Galveston. It’s one of the fortunate homes that survived the devastating 1900 Hurricane. House is decorated beautifully yet very homey. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had a great Father’s Day weekend. Hope to back on the Island in the near future and will definitely check to see if this home is available first!

We hope to be available when you come back! Thank you for being superb guests in our home!
Absolutely gorgeous home! Complete Nancy-Meyer’s aesthetic It was wonderfully appointed and so charming. Everything we could possible need. I loved that coffee, creamer and bottled water were provided. Even with the warm weather, the breeze from the front porch swing was lovely. Thank you so much!
Pamela’s Paradise is a gem in a historic, walkable neighborhood. This was our second stay, and we will be back. It’s a fun spot for every member of the family. Every detail adds character. We can’t stop talking about how much we love it!
We had such a lovely stay at Pamela’s Paradise! Such a unique and charming property that is just darling inside and out! We loved the historic features of the house that have been preserved, such as the beautiful front door and porch, 12 foot ceilings with original moldings, and the gorgeous fireplace and mantle. The set up of the house was perfect for our group, but be aware that the family suite is up a flight of steep stairs, and the single bedroom, which is decorated adorably, serves as a pass through between the living area and dining room/kitchen. It’s a little quirky in the way old homes tend to be, but we loved the entire feel and charm of the house, and the bathrooms and kitchen are updated with all the modern conveniences. Rachel was easy to communicate with and the check in/out was seamless. We would 100% recommend and will absolutely stay here again!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review! We are glad that you appreciated the charm and history that we strive to preserve.- even all the quirks! :) You are always welcome back to Pamela’s Paradise!
We loved our stay in this beautiful home! All of the accommodations were perfect for us (4 adults, 2 preschoolers), and all of the house's history and various little nooks provided an ongoing treasure hunt the whole time we were there. Loved walking to the park and to breakfast, and Rachel couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. Hoping we can come back again sometime!

Wow! This house was perfect for everyone in our family. Nothing has been overlooked by the hosts. There were interesting details throughout the property. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful start!
We had a relaxing time. Enjoyed sitting out on the porches. The beach was fun. My only request would be to have a golf cart to get to the beach and Stand.

Thank you for your stay at Pamela's Paradise! We are so glad you enjoyed the home. We have definitely considered purchasing a golf cart for the property but would need to modify the backyard to park it. Otherwise we agree that is a great idea. Meanwhile there are some fabulous golf cart rentals nearby. Our favorite is Kars and Karts. We hope you come again soon!
From the moment we walked up to the front gate to experiencing the wonderful Victorian home in Galveston, our expectations were exceeded. The process of registration was flawless, the house was immaculate, the furnishings were tremendous, and the appointments were also fabulous. We so enjoyed our stay! it was a perfect Galveston getaway for our family. We definitely want to come again! The bonus for us was the fenced yard and pet friendly atmosphere for our Golden Doodle.
Always a pleasure staying here. Any questions are responded to in a promptly time.Forgot to review last year, but a storm came through and knocked power out to the house. Anyone could shrug it off as we did. Here? Nope!!! Got a text asking how we are doing and what can be done to help our stay.Always a great place to stay 3 years running!
