Diamond in the rough
Visited our son at Baylor during family weekend and happened to have my father in-law and older son with us. So a house with 4 bedrooms was perfect.
The house is beautifully appointed and super clean. The remodel job was done perfectly with what was available. The kitchen was ample and had a few starters like coffee, tea and sugar. But also had all the dishes, pots and pans that you would need if you were going to cook a full dinner.
Not all rooms have TV’s so that could potentially be an issue for some. In fact, I don’t recall there was a TV upstairs at all. There was one in the master bed downstairs and another in the living room.
There is also only one bathroom upstairs to share with the three bedrooms. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it may be for some.
That said, the bathrooms were nicely remodeled or built new, and nicely appointed. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash available in both full bathrooms. I did notice that tissue paper (Kleenex) wasn’t available but other unexpected niceties were (like cotton balls, and q-tips).
Overall this is a great property with very nicely appointed rooms, and common areas. It is not located in the best part of town, which is its biggest drawback, but we didn’t have any issues during our stay.
We will definitely consider staying here again for our next family visit to Baylor.
Cheer!
