Great getaway

From the moment we walked in, we were comfortable in this property. The property manager helped us feel welcome, the layout was great, and the fire pit in the backyard was a fun time. A playground right across the street was a bonus for my four year old kiddo.

Great several days.House is comfortable and nicely decorated. Pool and playground across the street were a hit amongst kids. Easy drive to the beach and to riverwalk. Teenager enjoyed playing ping pong.

Lovely Stay in Wilmington!

I stayed at Stephen's lovely home with a group of my friends and we had a blast! Stephen provided us with a brand new grill for our weekend, and we had a great time grilling out and playing corn hole, going to the pool, and playing ping pong! A perfect weekend to celebrate my grad school graduation!

Great house with plenty of space!

We had a great stay at Stephen’s property! It was nice and roomy! Great master bedroom, comfy beds, homey bathrooms and big closets! Large backyard and the washer/dryer was great to have. It had everything we needed and was nice and clean. Also wonderful communication. We would love to stay again during our next trip to Wilmington!

This property is not as advertised.We left after one night. We were booked for two weeks. The nice pictures may have been from when it was first listed. Some serious renovations and a deep clean needed including a full carpet replacement. Bathroom has black mold under shower knobs; shower curtains are dirty and moldy; children’s bedroom had a squeaky bunk, was missing a fire alarm; washer had rust on the lid. I could go on. Hopefully the pictures tell the story.

Family Beach Week

The comfortably furnished house accommodated the 8 of us to celebrate a 60th anniversary and 50th birthday. Teens especially enjoyed ping pong table, smart TV, and the pass to the nearby community pool. Host provided folding chairs so all could sit at the dining table. The kitchen and laundry facilities were appreciated. We would consider returning another time. Two of our members could not come so the pullout bed was not needed.

Family Vacation

We loved the proximity to downtown and the beach. The pool and playground were directly across the street from the house as advertised. Check in was great, and Stephen was very responsive. Several things in the home needed to be addressed (missing high chair, missing electrical outlet cover, no coffee filters, an active wasp nest by the front door), and he quickly corrected those issues with a positive, helpful attitude. My chief complaint is the lack of maintenance on the house. After several years of being a VRBO, the carpet needs to be professionally cleaned, the whole house needs a deep clean and a professional, fresh paint job, and the yard needs attention. Some of our bedding had stains, and the kitchen had no dish rags or pot holders. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the house being mostly as advertised.

Even if there were issues, I was never given a chance to help. I have a team available 24/7 to resolve anything within minutes, you just needed to send a quick message! This is the first negative review I've received. We take pride in keeping it clean, comfortable, and perfectly-maintained. Thanks!
