About this property

This cozy modern cabin is just steps from the lake. The property will be undergoing soft good renovations with updated photos coming May 1st. This is a perfect getaway which includes a large deck with spa and games shack with plenty of outdoor activities. We are dog friendly (max 2) $60 per pup. Enjoy the pinecone trees perching over your stay while breathing in fresh mountain air! Game shack, outdoor activities and perfect trails awaits!
Check In: Welcome to your A-Chalet property. Prior to arrival, please contact Sky High Cabins 2 hours before arrival; who will be your in person check in service. Their number is: (909) 366-0706 located at: 41933 Big Bear Blvd Big Bear Lake, California 92315.

Pets: As a reminder, there is a $60 pet fee per dog (max 3). Please keep dogs off furniture and beds and in a crate if you leave the premises. Please leave dogs off furniture and beds at all times. In addition, leave the dog in the crate when leaving the premises. Always keep dogs close by and on leash at all times

Trash: All trash must be bagged up and taken offsite to the free trash site located at Clean Bear Site #1 at 41970 Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315 or Clean Bear Site #2 at 39690 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. There is a $65 fee per trash bag that is left behind.

Fireplace: We provide a complimentary bundle of wood per stay.

Thermostat: Set to desired temperature and back to 55° when check out.

Kitchen Cleanup: Kitchen is to be cleaned after meals, inclusive of washing and putting away the dishes that you use during your stay to avoid additional cleaning fees.

BBQ: Please clean the grill and turn off the valve on the propane tank after using the BBQ to avoid additional cleaning and propane refill charges of $100.

Spa: Please rinse off before using Spa (prevents oil and makeup build up).Turn spa up to desired temperature and back to 95° when finished. If water is murky, we will have to do a dump and fill which will be $175 extra charge. In addition, please make sure the spa cover is sealed and clipped tightly.

Snow Removal: Shovel and salt are provided per property. Please use it accordingly. Plow services will come during or after 3” of snow.

Wonderful cozy stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Chipowood. It was everything we were hoping to experience. We always had the fireplace going, enjoyed wine in the hot tub, walked easily to the lake, walked around the beautiful neighborhood, and drove to many of the close restaurants like big bear mountain brewery! Such a cozy and romantic time. Thank you Chipowood!

Nice cozy getaway cabin

The cabin was cozy and perfect for me and my husband for a quick anniversary weekend. We really enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. Close enough to the Village to ride our bikes to and also to ride to the lake. Overall we really enjoyed this place and would come back again.
