About this space
Enjoy the privacy of your own modern cabin nestled in the woods. Each cabin sleeps 8-10 people, is centrally located and includes high speed internet and television. Sorry no animals are allowed
The space
We look forward to having you visit our modern, Scandinavian style cabins with expansive window views, highlighting the North Shore Boreal Forest.

We are located along the North Shore in Lutsen, Minnesota where our backyard is marked by the Sawtooth Mountains and her majesty Lake Superior is in our front yard. The North Shore is chock full of waterfalls, rivers, and inland lakes surrounded by endless miles of hiking trails, biking trails, cross country ski trails, and snow mobile trails interwoven throughout the land. Lutsen is home to the largest ski resort in the Midwest and 20 minutes away from Grand Marais.

We have always loved and appreciated what the North Shore holds, and we are excited to share this experience with you.

Our cabins include:
Full Kitchen: refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, utensils, coffeemaker, dishes, and cookware.
Living Room: larger gathering area with table, couch, chairs, smart television, high speed internet, and gas fireplace.
Master Bedroom: King size bed and balcony
Second Bedroom: Log Queen over Queen bunk beds
Loft: 2 full beds
Bathrooms: 2 bathrooms with showers
Private Sauna and Changing room detached from main cabin.
Pantry/mudroom with sink, cupboards, bench and extra storage
Gas grill

Lutsen 99er

Probably the coolest spot you'll find to stay on the entire shore. It's .5 miles down from the main ski lodge, 1.3 miles from Superior National. Pictures are most accurate representation of a rental I've ever had. Place just rocks. Sauna is amazing and pristine. Layout is super cool with three bedrooms, 2 baths, and that big hang out area/open space. It really is that good.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Lutsen. Modern Scandinavian design that was truly so cozy and inviting. Kitchen and living space were perfect for our group to relax, cook. Large windows made you feel like we were really part of the beautiful birch and pine forest, wildflowers blooming. Two bathrooms was so helpful with little kiddos and adults running around. Beds were super comfortable. Only complaint we had was the AC Minisplit was up in the loft which didn’t circulate very well to the enclosed rooms. We were able to position some fans to get the air flowing but this meant we had to keep the room doors open which was a little tricky with a sleeping baby. But quite honestly this is likely only a slight issue end of July through mid August as weather thankfully just doesn’t get that hot up in Lutsen for long. Overall, very pleasant stay and we have already discussed a return trip!
