I traveled to Memphis for a meeting at the University of Memphis with three coworkers. This property was perfect for the four of us. We each had our own room. Everyone commented that the beds were comfortable. The house was clean. The host was easy to communicate with through the app. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this house again if I were traveling with a group.
From start to finish, our experience with Pettigrew adventures was fantastic! If any issues arose during our stay, the host promptly responded and resolved the issue! The home was very spacious and provided room to fellowship, as well as have private time! We will definitely be visitors! A Happy Thanksgiving has had by all!

Decor was nice, house not so much. Pictures are misleading and not an accurate representation of the house. After traveling 12+ hours, we arrived and noticed an 'old' smell when we arrived. It was late, so we did a quick look around. There was dust under the bed, coming out of vents & weird things inside vents. That was bad, but not the worst. In the bathroom and back bedroom, the tile floor was cracked and broken. I could feel it move under my feet, I cannot imagine walking on it barefoot. The towel bar was broken in there, too. There was a nice back deck, but the stairs were rotting & there appeared to be a lot of animal feces hanging out of the eaves & dripping onto the porch. The worst part was the BLACK MOLD. There was mold on the wallpaper, ceiling, & baseboard in the bathrooms. There was a pitcher left in the fridge that had mold floating in it. The ice/water dispenser in the fridge was covered in mold. Rust on appliances. We immediately contacted the host and he was quick to respond. Called us at 11:30 pm. We had to stay the night there but he assured us he could take care of some of our issues. Amos came in the morning and ran an ozone machine & wiped the mold off the ceiling & baseboard in bathroom. He said he bleached the mold on the wallpaper but it was still there and it was not wiped down behind the pink picture. They did not clean the ice/water dispenser. There was still mold. VRBO told us it was not safe to stay there so we had to leave.
My name is Morgan Pettigrew and I am a lifelong Memphian. My day job is practicing as an attorney for my general civil litigation firm. The Pettigrew Firm has a strong practice in real estate law. That experience coupled with my third-generation knowledge of real estate development and design makes me passionate about providing upscale and functional properties conveniently located to the heart of the city that I love.
I am a lover of local, fine art and am always looking for a fun piece to showcase in my properties. I am a dog mom of two and adore the many pet friendly places in Memphis that allow my “kids” to accompany me. When I’m not in court, or making plans for my next investment property, I enjoy traveling the world to pick up creative inspiration to bring back to my hometown. Because of my love for travel, I put my heart and soul into making certain that visitors have the best experience, not only in my properties, but also in my beloved Memphis, TN.
