Great location. Cute place to stay. Minutes from restaurants and the beach, even a little inland lake close by great for fishing! Fully stocked kitchen. Fun games! My family enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay! So comfortable for our family. Kitchen was so nice. Stocked very well with everything you need to prepare a meal. Smart TV was so nice to have as well, didn’t even need our Roku. The back yard was a good size for some frisbee, we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit, but how nice to have. Beds were comfy and the host was very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again! Great house for a great price.

Past bloom flowers at the back door steps were in the way somewhat, could be cut back. And a grab bar in tub would be helpful for seniors and everyone ! But we had a great time & the house inside was lovely !!

A wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay!

Stayed here for a few days while taking my kids to Pere Marquette—perfect location and lovely home! Also accidentally left my kid’s stuffed animals, but Katherine got them sent back to me right away and with no issues. Thank you so much!!! Hope to come back!

Cute house in quiet neighborhood

The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. My children loved the toys provided and the skateboard swing out back. I appreciated the quality kitchen that had all of the cooking supplies on needed.

Great Location

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The appliances in the kitchen were all new. Nearby Seyferth Park was great for my friends to walk their dog. Pere Marquette Park, Kruse Park (dog beach) and Dune Harbor Park are all near by. We are definitely considering a future trip.

It was a very nice beach weekend at the Michigan Lake! The house is cute and very clean. Yard is partially fenced (3 out of 4 sides) and that helped to watch our dogs. My husband said it needs to be mowed though We lived fire pit and chairs and sat around every night. It gets fresh every night and we loved it.House itself not big at all but it was pretty comfortable for family of 4. We could easily fit 1 more because 2 separate kids beds in one room. But... only 1 bathroom might be an issue. It is pretty tight , but when all 4-5 people want to poty after breakfast or take shower after a beach might raise a tense lol. We didn't have a big issues with bathroom though but we only stayed 3 nights. Also, because of all that sand people bring from the beach, water in a bathtub while you shower stays longer than you wanted to feel comfortable. We tried our best to shake ourselves outside and even used a water hose.Towels were super clean and soft!!! And plenty, for the beach and for a house! Big kudos for them!Kitchen pretty equipped and comfortable, we even used stove.We didn't sit in a living room but it was nice and with the warm vibes.We easily parked 2 cars side by side on a side of the house. Neighbors are close but they are nice and neighborhood are pretty quiet. 5 minutes drive to the dog beach, 5 minutes to walk to the park or liquor store on a next block corner lol.No washer or dryer, but laundromat within 1,2 miles far and drying there only a 1. Thanks!

Cute place near the beach

Our family of 6 stayed for 3 nights and were very comfortable. The house is located super close to the beach and anything else you might need. Love that they provided beach towels and a cooler. Only negative was no washer/dryer which we knew up front, but this makes it difficult to dry beach towels/swim suits since there’s also no where to really hang anything outside. A clothesline outside would be ideal but we made due with placing items over the chairs near the fire pit. The neighborhood is very peaceful and had a big park down the street that our boys enjoyed as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Philo

While the neighborhood lacks a “wow” factor it is quiet and walkable. Our cottage was cute as a bug and very accommodating. We did have need for a clothes line after the beach to dry our towels along with an outdoor grill, but other than that our stay was awesome.
