This brand new riverside home has something for everyone, but is truly a fisherman's delight! This home is a perfect place to gather and enjoy a wide array of activities our area has to offer, or just to relax and unwind in the fresh mountain air. The open living space features a large, fully stocked kitchen, plus a dining table and bar seating. The house has a reverse osmosis faucet which is hooked up to the refrigerator for drinking water. Starlink WiFi is available for streaming or working remotely. The living room has a sofa sleeper for additional sleeping arrangements. The master suite has a king bed, TV, and private bath with dual vanity, shower, and large soaking tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed and TV and the third bedroom is perfect for the kids with a full futon, twin bunk, and TV. These two rooms share a full bath. A full washer and dryer is available for guest use. Enjoy the views from the new deck with plenty of outdoor seating and a gas fire table. A private hot tub has just been installed and has beautiful views overlooking the river. Take the trail down to the riverside where you can fish or have a picnic on the shore as you watch the geese and cranes fly by. There is a full hook up RV space next to the house with 50 amp service along with septic connection and water spigot. 50 amp service can also be used for charging an electric vehicle. (Additional nightly fees apply for RV hookup use and electric vehicle charging.)

This scenic home was perfect for our family. Staying at the house was as much of a vacation as exploring nearby towns and skiing at Purgatory. It was so peaceful and private. Plenty of room for everyone. The house is practically brand new and was so clean. This house had everything we needed for cooking and it came with a VIEW! The back patio and hot tub was our favorite. I will definitely be booking there again!

9 of us stayed in this cabin for a week, and it was simply perfect. A great place to come home to after a day of adventures. The location was perfect in relation to Durango and the necessary places nearby. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Just outside Durango

We visit Durango often and decided to stay on the south side instead of north side like normal. We were pleasantly surprised. The view of the river, the easy trip into town where are amazing. Everything was thought of with porch, grill, firepit, hot tub and so much more. We would for sure stay here again.

Lovely Stay

My family has stayed in MANY vacation rentals and this one is the most spotless we've ever come across! The kitchen and pantry was better stocked than my own home!! Everything in the house was brand new and the split bedroom layout was perfect for privacy. The outdoor patio was lovely and spacious. The only negative was the river was not as close as depicted in the pictures and wasn't really easily accessible.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed the home. We do try to accurately portray the distance to the river in both our photos and description. We have several photos on the listing that show the distance from the home and the view. The river sits below the home and is a very short walk (or drive if you choose) just down the hill from the home to the river area. The owners make sure that the meadow area is mowed so you can easily access the river bank and enjoy.

FULLY stocked house and very organized

I can’t describe how stocked this house is, from family board games to EVERY kitchen tool you will ever possibly need! Okay let’s talk about the back porch, the hot tub is legit and the fire pit was perfect. We skied at Pergatory even though this house is a hike from the mountains we would still pick it again!

Beautiful views and house!

We spent 3 nights and loved it. The only negative thing (and wasn’t a big deal, just didn’t realize prior to arrival) is there are some camper hook ups on the property down from the home. All of the positives outweigh the minor negative. The house has everything you need plus plenty of extras. All of the rooms are decorated nicely and the back porch and hot tub area were great. I would recommend!

Perfect getaway for our fly fishing trip to the San Juan River at Navajo Dam. This property owner thought of everything. . . Well equipped kitchen (even had beer mugs in the freezer), wonderful gas stove, plenty of area to relax, comfortable beds, and beautiful views. The path to the river was past the shed so it was not visible from the house but based on reviews we checked it out. Easy to access and get right to river’s edge. River was too full and fast for fishing currently but looks like it will be perfect once the water slows down. We all highly recommend this property.

Multi-generation getaway

Every detail was thought of in this home, from the fluffy spa robes to the jacuzzi towels to a well stocked game closet to quality cookware and plenty of dishes. We would have thought we were the first guests ever in this spotless home had it not been for the guest book and map showing where previous folks had traveled from. The view of the Animus from the large and comfortable back deck made mornings and evenings outside a treat. This home is 20ish minutes from Aztec in one direction and the heart of Durango in the other, so you really feel like you’re away from it all while close enough to do fun stuff in town. Highly recommend!
