The layout and spacious design of the house are ideal for accommodating larger groups, such as multiple families or groups of friends. With ample room and plenty of indoor entertainment options, guests will not feel cramped, even with a full house. The home is conveniently located, with easy access to the various activities and attractions within the Massanutten Resort, including easy access to the ski slopes, golf courses and indoor water park, which are only a 3-5 minute drive away.

The hosts, David and Laurie, are highly responsive and friendly, ensuring a smooth booking process and a pleasant stay for the guests. They provide a detailed guidebook with helpful information about the property and the surrounding area. They are easy to get in touch with, communicate well, which is so much nicer than dealing with a property managment company that never seems to really care. David and Laurie definetly care about your stay going well.

We love dogs and know how special and comforting it is to have them travel with you. Rocktown Retreat is perfect for them. Upon checkout, please ensure that all messes are picked up and disposed of.

While we won’t be nearby physically, we are available typically from 7:30 am - 10:00 pm to answer any questions promptly. Outside of those hours, we will be a bit slower to reply.

Whether you want to bring your kids to explore the waterpark and the ski slopes or enjoy a day on the golf course, there are ample activities to enjoy in and around the resort.
Massanutten Resort has numerous activities to keep every age busy! During the winter months, guests of all ages can hit the slopes to enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. There is a ski school for beginners and tubing for young guests. In the summer months, guests can enjoy ziplining, a water park, mountain biking, and 2 golf courses. During the fall, enjoy the fall foliage on numerous hiking trails and fishing on one of the resort's ponds. Springtime is a great time to enjoy the Escape Room or hit the golf course for a round of golf.
