Lions Head 2024
Over all the unit and property were A+++. It was accommodating and the location was a brief and easy walk to the lift and all the main streets and square in Lions Head. The shuttle into Downtown Vail was right across the street. The alliance with Venture Sports made it even easier to be driven to the lift via golf cart and renting equipment if needed. There were the usual glitches to get to learn when renting in a place for the first time (such as entry codes, where the trash is, etc.) but the front desk and building staff made that easy to figure out. They were courteous and provided wonderful service - always with a smile! The unit itself had every amenity making it easy to cook breakfast (the only meal we are in), down to humidifiers for the bedrooms. The gym, indoor and outdoor pools hot tubs, and gym, multiple fireplaces throughout the lobby and extended area were an added bonus. The decor in the unit was fresh, new and modern, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would encourage the unit owner to add more throw blankets for the main living area. Lastly the parking was simple, ample and convenient. We could not have been more pleased..we plan to come back next year!

Cozy, gorgeous & felt like home
We loved the convenient location. It was always an easy in-and-out to and from our place whether it was a walk to the village, across the street in the bus station for the legendary breakfast or pickup from the delicious Thai place. Unloading and loading also easy with the carts there in the garage for our convenience and we remained covered from weather conditions to/from our car when heading out for a drive. The rustic modern design was everything. Everything was ‘luxury’ from the smart appliances to the thermostat functions providing a constant comfortable temperature showers to the pull-down shades and modern fireplace with a flip of a switch. My only complaint would be the absence of blankets that I would’ve loved to have several times while in the living room. It would have added to the coziness when lying down for a nap or if one of us was feeling a little chilly. We also had difficulty locating the gym. We returned to the property details in the listing, back through emails and then The Lion’s general website, and we still couldn’t find a clear description of ‘where’ to find the gym - only photos of it (also no signs in the building pointing us in the direction- or that we saw). We finally ran into the manager a couple days in and asked, and he gladly showed us the gym and more. All-in-all, it was an amazing stay. It was our first time to Vail and we fell in love with it. Even it being “off-season” in the fall. Very relaxing and a nice reset.
