Stay in this cozy custom built guest cabin just 28 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance, where I strive to make you feel like a local not a tourist. The Tiny Timber is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood just off highway 20. It offers more amenities and conveniences than a hotel while adding the tranquility and privacy of your own mountain retreat! After a busy and crowded day in the park, escape to the Tiny Timber. You can cook, BBQ, build a campfire, play cards, try rock painting or just simply relax, catch up on laundry and enjoy the mountains after a fun filled busy day. The Tiny Timber is brand new construction with all the comforts and cooking capabilities you need along with great WiFi. Location: The cabin is centrally located in Island Park. It's two miles from a gas station/store, bank and post office, with several restaurants and lodges within 5 miles. Enjoy nearby trails and fishing or schedule a lazy river float down Big Springs. You will also find maps, books and local area suggestions upon your arrival.
The space The Tiny Timber is a spacious 500 square feet. Your adventure begins the moment you leave Island Parks buzzing highway 20. You will be on dirt roads for about a mile. The roads are well maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive but they can get a bit muddy during the rainy season. Please be mindful of the 15mph posted speed limits along the way. Other things to note: There are three structures on the property: The Treetop Loft, The Mini Moose and your Tiny Timber. Each building has a sign, its own entry codes, its own designated parking and ample space for privacy. The neighborhood is amazing. It's safe, quiet, well maintained and full of friendly seasonal locals.

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Williams
I live in Utah but stay here in Island Park during the rental season to manage my own properties. I just love sharing my space with Yellowstone visitors and meeting guests that come from all over the world. It's my retirement hobby :)
Why they chose this property
I love our neighborhood. My dad and grandfather built our original cabin up here in the 80's and we have been coming up here ever since. Elk Creek Estates is conveniently close to highway 20 but tucked up against national forest for great privacy and beauty.
What makes this property unique
You wont feel like a tourist here. We are a tight and friendly neighborhood that take care of each other.
