Good location for West entrance to Yellowstone.
Nice ride from Yellowstone. Quiet and peaceful. It was clean and they have plenty of detergent and towels. It was also clean which is very important. We picked this one so we could enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the view. Well, there were no outside seating. A few cheap plastic chairs or foldable to put back into the rental would have been enjoyable. This rental could be so much more with just a little extras. We liked the layout and couches were comfortable. We had problems with the remotes for the TV and more information would have saved us aggravation. Wished they had more instructions and at least a guide to see what the stations number was on Direct TV. The beds were just so so and needs at least a added pillowtop or foam mattress. The pillows were almost useless. You can hear every toss and turn upstairs from downstairs bedroom. Upstairs you can hear downstairs bedroom occupants. Needs more cooking pans like larger frying pans, saucepans with covers and mixing or microwavable bowls.
With all the rules it is hard to really enjoy the stay afraid you might be charged for something you didn't do. I realize homeowners might have to do that. We have stayed in many VRBO type homes and no one had that many rules. Taking our own trash to a landfill about 10 miles away was just a little too much. We had to wash the towels before we left. Most VRBO have you put them in one place. We washed, dried and folded the towels. We also started the wash for the sheets.
Had to call the reservation office for a problem and they were responsive. One of the problems was that the shower head was put on upside down so putting on "hot" was "cold" and vice versa. Guess we should have reported that so no one else would have the same problem.
I don't mean for this to be a negative review but did want the owners to realize their cabin could be so much more with just a few changes. This is a business and if they have many rentals they can not keep up with what is needed in all their units. Little things like curtains on the bathroom window, decent pillows, bottled water because the water is not drinkable.
