Lakeside living at its finest. This amazing oasis is comfy and inviting with stunning views, expansive deck, and your own private beach. Fully renovated, carefully curated and meticulously cleaned-this indulgent gem is perfect for a serene dip in the hot tub at sunset or easy fishing from the shore. Relax and watch the boats, eagles and waves-everything has been thought of here. Your spacious master suite looks out over a second-floor balcony. A perfect place to enjoy the in-room coffee bar.

***You pay a cleaning fee and should not have to clean on vacation! Please leave the place tidy. We have all laundry professionally cleaned.

THERE IS A $100 PET FEE PER STAY. WE LOVE FLUFFERS. WE THINK THEY SHOULD VACAY WITH THE FAMILY TOO.

This house has direct access to Lake Erie. It is beautiful and dangerous. PLEASE RESPECT THE LAKE!!!!! It can get very angry some days. There is a private beach most days. However, it depends on the water level, wind speed, and wind direction. Please see photos of the full beach on a calm day and NO beach on a stormy day.

Harmless Midges will hatch in June (most likely) when the lake temps reach 60 degrees along the shores of Lake Erie, clinging to the house, cars, your hair, just about anything. The annual event happens in early June, as the lake warms up and the days get longer. That's when the mosquito lookalikes hatch, fly onto shore, swarm, and reproduce. I will contact guests who have a reservation during those days to advise and give an option. This is a natural event, and we will provide a bug vacuum during your stay. We also have professional bug treatments regularly.

Every year, the situation varies depending on the timing and number of hatchlings. We will make the best decision based on the individual circumstances. We have no intention of having guests pay for a ruined vacation venue, but we will also not offer a discount or refund for a few bugs on the lake. We have several options and will contact you so we can come up w a plan when or if that happens.

Please keep all doors and windows shut. We have provided screens on all windows and doors. We also provide a long vaccuum for any insects that may sneak in during your stay. Professional exterminators do service this property as needed.

This Lakefront Oasis Retreat was spectacular. The view of the lake out of the expansive windows is gorgeous. Pictures don't due justice to just how roomy this house is. The views are amazing and the property offers plenty of options to relax and enjoy them. The house is comfortable and nicely decorated. One thing that should be clarified is that even though the listing states that it is a fenced in yard, the property is not fully fenced in, as there is not a front fence. So don't expect to just be able to let your dog out without a leash / tie-out and some supervision. Other than that the property was as described and as shown in the photos. It is a wonderful retreat!

The house and property is amazing. The owners thought of every amenity including providing firewood, beach towels, beach chairs, an amazing hot tub, etc.. We spent a few days in Cleveland at the guardians game and the casino and it's only about a 30 minute drive.

Family Weekend At Lakefront Oasis Retreat

We had a wonderful weekend at our lakefront home. Everything was as per the listing--an immaculate, private, welcoming lakefront home, with all the amenities mentioned in the listing. We enjoyed taking a walk in the neighborhood, going to Headlands Beach (an easy 20 minute drive) and going into historic downtown Willoughby (an easy 15 minute drive) for lunch. The Lakefront Oasis Retreat is a great stay place that I am happy to recommend to others.

OUTSTANDING GETAWAY

We had a wonderful time, the house is more beautiful than the photos show. The little special touches are unique and unexpected. The house has everything you could want on your trip, from the awesome waterviews to the spectacular master bedroom overlooking the lake with a private balcony. Both my husband and myself felt like we had been at a five star spa on a tropical island, we enjoyed this home so very much.

We enjoyed an amazing fall getaway - this property lives up to its description and reviews. That view through the sliding glass doors and the two decks - Lake Erie did not disappoint! Well stocked kitchen, extras like fresh flowers, toiletries in case you forgot something, books to read, and fun and unique beach decor. You can't see the sunset from the property in late October, but Sunset Park is an easy 5 minute drive and we saw beautiful sunsets there each night of our stay. And that hot tub - the perfect way to end a busy day, relaxing under the stars. I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

Lake Erie retreat

My family stayed here for a week and enjoyed every bit of this house and property. We didn't miss a sunset or an evening in the hot tub. We loved sitting on the beach and watching the waves and enjoying going in the water. Everything was so relaxing. We went to Cuyahoga valley national Park and spent an afternoon in Cleveland going to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. If you want to relax and love sitting by the water this is your spot. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need.
