Excellent stay

The property is very well equipped. As families with kids, we particularly appreciated the cleanliness. There are abundant of beddings for all of us.

The house was overall quite accurate to the description, and housed our group of 8 without any issues. We found it to be very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cookwares and functional, and the porch off of the kitchen was an amazing location for eating dinner. We found that while there was wifi, it was constantly losing connectivity for any of our phones connected to the networked. This is important because there was no cell T Mobile service in this part of Three Rivers. There was minimal access to the river based on the location of trees and shrubs, but it was beautiful to listen to in the evening. Communication with the host was terrible. Having not receive check-in information two days before arrival, I sent a message through VRBO and received no reply up to the evening before. I had to go through VRBO get the host to reply. The host mentioned that VRBO alerts were turned off and apologized. I wouldn't mention this here, but I sent additional text messages to the host during the stay to ask about checkout procedures. It took multiple days to get a reply.

Beautiful location, spacious property

Our three families loved our stay here and wished we could have stayed longer. The grounds are beautiful and the house was spacious. The kids loved the river and the game room, and the adults enjoyed sitting on the large balcony and enjoying the views and the sound of the river.

Nice clean house with great host!

We stayed there with 2 families. Very nice and clean house. Interesting for all children ages. Was very easy to communicate with host. We'll definitely return ! Thank you

Great Location!

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location to do many activities. It has Very beautiful views in a quiet neighborhood. 15 mins from lake Kaweah and 15 mins from the Sequoia national park. We also enjoyed Kaweah white water rafting, it was an amazing experience. Overall it was a great house with great amenities.

Family Reunion

Short enjoyable weekend stay for whole family. Comfortable house for visiting and playing. Stairs and steep driveway. Close to Sequoia National Park and close to "town".

Sleep commodity

Sofas need to be replaced, they’re good but the legs in a few of them were bend, so at the time to convert the sofas in bed a part of the bed was not evenly straight horizontally. Also I think there’s not enough beds for the 20 people as it show in the advertising. Kitchen needs more big pans an other utensils to do all the cooking Other than that so far it was a good place for a weekend 👍

Unfortunately, this stay was a horrible experience. Host: 1/5. horrible communication. Did not respond to messages on VRBO weeks prior to trip. Did not respond to repetitive requests for check-in information. Had to go through VRBO for them to contact him. Did not respond to urgent requests once we arrived. Cleanliness: 2/5: arrived to wet towels. GROSS. Dishes were sticky and dirty. Pee smell in basement and garage. Water damage throughout basement. Moldy vents. Owner did have some new towels delivered.Visited in May- Christmas decor still on mantle. Furnishings and House: 1/5. Listing stated 5BR/slept 20. central BR door did not close which opened to living room. 4 beds were broken. AC in basement did not work. WIFI was unusable. Could not even watch a movie and no cell service. Outlets in bathrooms did not work. Tables in living room not sturdy- tipped over on my kid. Only 4 kitchen towels. No oven mitts or washcloths. Advertised grill but no propane tank. Retaining wall outside about to crash down and dangerous. Beds made without top sheets or pillowcases. Beds are horribly uncomfortable, many broken and not sturdy. Kitchen knives with massive chips out of blade- YIKES. Chipped non-stick pots and pans. Was afraid this was all hazardous. Master was niceFamily friendly: 2/5. advertised kid-friendly, but open rails in main living area and surrounding deck very easy for kid to slip through. No baby gates. There was a nice rock beach behind home my kids enjoyed.

Man the host of the house was the host with the most! We came prepared but if we didnt they had all the amenities you could ask for. Very classy and comfortable that fit our whole Family. Great location and beautiful home! We will be back for sure. Who ever is renting next you gonna love this place. Perfect spot if yiur going to Sequoia National Park. Thank you for everthing!!!

Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by several issues. When we arrived, the air conditioning had been turned off, and the temperature inside the home was well over 90F. It did not cool down below 75F until after midnight. The following day, after returning from a hike, we found that the air conditioning had been turned off again and the indoor temperature had risen above 85F. It took until after 11:00 PM for the home to reach a comfortable temperature.In addition, there were dead bugs underneath the downstairs couch and surrounding furniture, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property.While the home had its positives, these issues significantly affected our comfort and overall experience.
