Welcome to Tranquil Ridge Cabin. Luxury cabin perched on a rocky bluff with steps down to the water right on the Upper Mountain Fork River. Listen to the sounds of nature as flowing water runs by the cabin, birds chirp and fly overhead, and soaring Pines and Hardwoods blanket the property. Kayak the river during your stay & try your luck fishing with record catfish caught in these waters. The rear wall of the cabin is 98% glass to pull in the natural beauty of the forest and river below. Relax on the sprawling covered deck & enjoy having a BBQ with friends/family. Huge 7 person covered hot tub is perched in the perfect location to look upriver and watch eagles soar overhead. Firepit and Adirondacks provided for you for enjoying time by the fire at night while stargazing and catching up with friends and loved ones. Basketball goal, Hammock and Picnic table recently installed as well on our huge 3 acre lot. We are less than 5 minutes from a Dollar Store, General Store and restaurant, gas station. Just 25 minutes North of Hochatown where there are shops/dining/entertainment/lake and casino. Experience the quiet and solitude of a river front cabin and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Comfortably Sleeps (8) people with newly installed Murphy Bed upstairs. We made a long weekend of a return trip home. This home was exactly as advertised. Beautiful property with incredible views!Temps were freezing, but we would definitely go back when warmer to take advantage of river and kayaking.

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views!

We loved our time at Tranquil Ridge! Our family enjoyed the cabin and the property immensely! We loved being able to have a short walk down to the river to fish, as well as sit in patio and fire pit area to enjoy the beautiful views! The cabin itself had everything we needed and was even better in person! We definitely plan to come back again!

Tranquility at its best!

Nice secluded cabin! We loved our “do nothing” vacation. We walked the property, cooked hot dogs over fire pit, used propane grill for steaks and hamburgers, soaked in hot tub, enjoyed views from deck, listened to nature and caught up on reading. We will be back!

As the title states, this place is beyond amazing!If your planning a trip just go ahead & add an extra day or two for your stay. You'll be glad you did.Clean, neat, warm, cozy, all the amenities you'll need and then some.Nestled along the river it's as peaceful as it gets. Watch the wildlife or just listen to the river flow. It's a great escape from every day life.Thank you for sharing your little peace of heaven!

The best Christmas vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay over the Christmas holidays. We walked in to a warm house with Christmas music playing and it was the perfect welcome! It was the week of Christmas so freezing outside, the two fireplaces were so nice place was extremely clean, and the perfect view &porch. We would love to come back in the summer and be able to enjoy the water. 10/10 recommend.

Tranquility dream

The cabin is perfect! The views are amazing of the river and skyline. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed. The kayaks were wonderful to float around the river. Plenty of seating in the home and on the porch for a 2 bedroom. Gorgeous bathrooms and a peaceful area to escape the world!

Always a wonderful stay here

This was our second time at Tranquil Ridge, this time under new owners, and our stay was just as wonderful. The cabin is spotless and well appointed with just about anything you'd need for your stay. The new owners have added plenty of additional things such as life vests for kayaking, items for small children, and as someone who sleeps with a fan on for noise, I was even pleased to see they had a box fan. The beds are comfy, the showers are fantastic and relaxing. We were pleased to see new Adirondack chairs by the firepit, they were great to lean back in and stargaze, which is my favorite thing to do up at Tranquil Ridge! We always have such a wonderful, relaxing time here, and can't wait to book again.

His Retirement Escape

Home & Location was exactly as described. Perfect getaway for 60+ seeking serene environment. Many different birds chirping away, think we heard an elk also. We were keeping track of the turtles on a log and believe we saw a beaver building his dam. We enjoyed corn hole on the wrap around porch, as well as a one on one of basketball. The location was just 3 1/2 hrs away and was perfect so we never left, and I brought plenty of food for us. Thank you for building such a gorgeous home and sharing it with others. Would have loved binoculars and maybe a reading lamp. Thank you again.

Beautiful cabin with river view

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Beautiful view of the lake, cabin was beautiful inside and out. Beds are so comfortable and the showers are amazing. It was so nice to come back after a long hot day of outdoor activities and be able to relax in such a beautiful place. It had everything we needed for all our cooking needs. We also enjoyed reading the little journal of all the other families experiences. Looks like you need to start a new journal though. That one was pretty full. My only little complaint would be the spider webs on the patio and patio furniture. We did take into consideration that you are in the middle of the woods but a quick sweep of the furniture and rails would be nice so you can enjoy sitting out on the patio. Other than that we loved everything about this beautiful property. We would love to come back in the fall to enjoy the fireplaces. Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful property.

I was looking for a space to spend some time with my daughter before she heads to basic training in the army. Anyone with 18plus daughters knows how hard that can be to lock down. I figured how about a cabin in the woods? Bad cell service and no Wi-Fi on kayaks was the answer. Both of my daughters had a blast. The views are incredible from the deck to the hot tub, to the bedroom. We barley saw another person on the miles of river we kayaked. I have stayed in more than a few vacation rentals and this one is top notch. Every detail and item you may have wanted to bring with you is here. Bring some food and drink and that’s it. Very clean and inviting when we arrived and all the amenities you would want to enjoy the river including towels, bug spray, firewood, kayaks, tubes, and games. It was great. We will definitely be back.

I can't say enough good things about this cabin and the overall experience from start to finish. The hosts are incredibly responsive, the cabin ABSOLUTELY lives up to the hype/photos, and the overall "tranquility" of the area is priceless. The covered patio really steals the show in the best way. Nothing beats watching the sunrise and sunset surrounded by nature while sitting in a rocking chair, savoring a hot cup of coffee. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. I highly recommend it to any family or couples thinking about booking!! 11 out of 10 in my book...

The views were amazing! The cabin itself was beautiful! We loved the woodwork. We used the hot tub quite a few times. It was very clean as was the house itself. We sat on the back porch & looked at the river everyday. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our neighborhood is secluded with the sounds of the forest being the first thing you notice. No road noise or city lights to obstruct your experience. Truly get away and enjoy nature.

This property is truly unique and offers some of the best views you'll ever experience in this area. A true river front experience with enormous deck, wrap around porches, direct access to river and views of water, mountains, the forest, tree tops, hawks and eagles and fog rolling over the river in the mornings. Outdoor space features firepit, high end Adirondacks, grill, dining table, huge hot tub. We're just minutes from trails and use our kayaks to enjoy time on the river! What more could you ask for?
