Kitchen is absolutely stunning with stained knotty alder cabinets completely stocked with cups, bowls, mugs, small kitchen appliances, cutlery, etc. for your stay. Equipped with high end Stainless steel appliances, Coffee Maker and Keurig, huge granite island/bar with seating & deep stainless sink. Living Area features super comfortable real leather sectional to snuggle up with your significant other while watching a good movie or reading a book with the fire going. Step out on the porch and just absorb the sounds of nature flooding your senses. Light up the fire outside and relax in your own private Adirondacks and let the stress of everyday life melt away. Kayaks available for your stay upon request. Just walk or drive just a few hundred yards from the cabin and grab a kayak and drop into the river and enjoy fishing, exploring. It's hard to beat the experience you'll have at Just the Two of Us Cabin. We are less than 5 minutes from a Dollar Store (all essentials there), General Store, Restaurant and gas station. Wonderful cabin!

We enjoyed the cabin and the view so much! The fireplace was wonderful when it got cold and rainy. The view of the river was exactly what we’d hoped for. Awesome place to relax and rejuvenate!

Just The Two of Us

Great property, great house, had everything we needed, and everything functioned properly. The description of the property in the listing was very accurate, except for the access to the river from the cabin. There is access to the river from the cabin, but I think it should have been noted on the listing, that it is not easily accessible. I was able to get down to the river, but my wife was not able to. The path to the river is very steep. Access to the river from the cabin was one of the reasons why I chose this cabin. My wife likes to fish, and we didn't want to drive or walk someplace else to go fishing. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Cabin came with everything needed for a relaxing, nature filled weekend. The host has thought of everything. There wasn't anything that we felt this place lacked. Highly recommend staying here.

Why they chose this property

This property is incredibly special as it's nestled right on the Upper Mountain Fork River on over 3 acres of land. Listen to the sounds of the river from your private back porch and hot tub. Walk just down the path and grab a kayak and enjoy some time on the river. Or drop a line in the river and do some fishing. Or maybe you just want to enjoy some peaceful quiet while listening to the birds, watching for soaring eagles or going on a walk. We are only 20 or so minutes from Hochatown where there are tons of shops/restaurants and other entertainment options. There are very few properties on the river and this one is hard to beat!

What makes this property unique

When you arrive and realize you're truly right on the river, you'll understand just how special this property is. You'll feel like you're truly away from it all and will love the serene location and sounds of water rolling over the rocks and the up/downstream views of the Upper Mountain Fork River. Not to mention the exqusitely built modern cabin with 2 way fireplace, smart TV's, designer shower and luxurious hot tub.
