We wanted a quiet home away from home within 10-15 minutes drive to the beach, local attractions and restaurants. This place fit the bill. The fenced backyard was a perfect place for our whole family and our dog to chill and relax. The hosts checked on us and were quick to respond to messages. Check in and checkout was smooth. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials. We felt so welcomed and enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoy staying there.

This was our second stay at mermaid kisses. We are always pulling a trailer and there's plenty of room to park the truck and trailer. And the Host are very nice and helpful if we need them.

Awesome place

It was Clean and had plenty of room for us. Decent kitchen and appliances and it has an open concept. Great location for having st. Andrews bay and restaurants and stores by it. Cool backyard and fire pit. Only thing i didn't like was the two cameras outside, which wasn't on the listing, but we would definitely stay again for sure.

Good Spot for a quick stay

We need a place that was close to the hospital and restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet, not too busy and we were able to get to stores and other necessary locations within 10-15 minutes even with traffic. The back yard area was so cute and would have been enjoyed even more if the weather permitted. Kitchen has all you need to make basic meals.

FBI level "security"

Upon arrival, we found out there were exterior cameras installed "for [our] security." The front would be fine, but the otherwise very private backyard had a camera that appeared like it could see the whole space. I had hoped to spend time relaxing in the privacy of the backyard, but instead found myself feeling watched the entire time. We sat outside for maybe 30 minutes the whole 48 hours we stayed there. That said, it's my only serious complaint. The house and property are nice and clean, the owners were very accommodating of us arriving a couple hours early, and the departure cleanup was limited to washing dishes and piling used towels together. Could have used some more comfortable living room furniture, but it's not terrible.

The backyard was fenced and big, however my dogs do not go poop on stones. The no see-ums arrive at sunset, which made that beautiful backyard not comfortable to stay outside! My dogs are used to 2, 3 mile walks a day, and the neighborhood didn’t have sidewalks, and the grassy areas were full of spurs I was picking out of paws. I found a grassy dog park not far away which helped them relax more. The home was so adorably decorated with mermaid and beach theme which I loved. We visited restaurants and didn’t eat there, brought the dogs to the dog beach and played tourist at the beach areas. The home itself is in a historic warehouse neighborhood, easy to get to. I met people at dog park that recommended places to see, that were dog friendly. I plan on making this a yearly trip.
