One of a kind two bedroom beach bungalow right on the beach, deck with direct ocean views, sandy beach, a tropical ambiance and a family friendly setting that will make you feel like you are in your own private island and where memories are made.

The Palm is 1 of 5 secluded bungalows nestled in a 10 acre ocean / beach front paradise. This unique property has close to 1000’ of private sandy beach, 2 docks extending out 450’ from the shore, great for docking your boat, jet ski or enjoying the great fishing action right off our pier. At the heart of our resort is our featured amenity, our newly remodeled grotto style pool inspired by natural Coral coast such as you would find in South Florida. The pool area features 2 pools; a smaller chill pool with a cascading waterfall bench. Our larger pool a water slide, a waterfall hidden grotto, a swim up bar and a hot tub for those days you need to relax after a great day out fishing. Amenity’s also include complimentary paddle boards, our fitness center, 8 bikes to cruise the island, 2 tiki huts on the beach great for grilling as you feel the ocean breeze, or just soaking it all in on a hammock.
Also a Great place for weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions and romantic getaways .

***IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE***
The Florida Keys even though surrounded by water is not known for its beaches. Our unique property does have a natural setting beach, meaning that seaweed and debris from the ocean does make its way to our shoreline. Specifically in the hotter months, EXTREME amounts of seaweed will accumulate on our shoreline and beyond.

A Wonderful Week in the Keys

Our family of 4 had a wonderful week at “The Palm” at Sugarloaf Beach. As advertised and as others had mentioned, the seaweed (smelly at times) and bugs were present, but we expected it going in and it didn’t take away from all the fun we had on the beach and in the pool. The beach area directly in front of the house is perfect for lounging in the sun, searching for shells and sea glass, and playing in the sand. The tiki lounge area to the right of the house was a great area to hang out on and we enjoyed a couple of picnics there. The pool/grilling area is beautiful and we took advantage of it almost every day. The big pool was kept nice and warm too. The house is definitely in need of updating and lacks simple touches of a rental (missing a toilet paper holder in one bathroom, no hot pads for the oven, no kitchen dish towels, no ice machine/molds, no laundry baskets, etc.), but all minor inconveniences. While the property is out in the middle of nowhere (part of the appeal), it was convenient enough to make day trips into Key West and Marathon during the week. Overall, we had a great week and would return again in the future.

Beach Bungalow - Beautiful views!

Beautiful secure area of the Keys with your own private beach. Easy access to the water with many amenities such as bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks. Very nice, semi-private pool area with plenty of grills and seating areas. Maintenance staff very friendly and worked hard to keep the facility clean and appealing. Property owner/manager very accessible and responded quickly to our questions and requests. Also, close to Key West without the traffic and people congestion. Thank you for making our experience wonderful!

Relaxation achieved!!

Our little slice of Paradise for 5 days was AMAZING!!! The bungalow provided everything that was needed… A beachfront and oceanfront oasis was the ultimate for relaxing and reconnecting … The pool was absolutely incredible along with the grills for cooking, water slide for pool entertainment, swim up bar for BYOB drinks and snacks plus the huge TV for entertainment or football watching… but the one thing that made this an AMAZING experience was the HOST!!! He was responsive to my inquiries or texts within mere MINUTES!! Nothing went unanswered… Check in and check out process was beyond easy… And he always wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed and were fully accommodated, as we expected to be!! This host is incredible along with all of the maintenance staff, and everybody involved!! We would definitely Book with this host, and any of their properties again!!
