About the host

We bought the Marbledge Lodge in 2020 just a few years after the main lodge burned down. We have renovated the eight cabins on the south side of the property and turned them into long-term rentals.

Why they chose this property

We've been coming up to East Dorset for more than 20 years... we love the quarries and Emerald Lake in the summer, Bromley and Stratton Mountain in the winter, and enjoying the views while breathing fresh mountain air during all seasons of the year!

What makes this property unique

Our little cabins provide the comforts of home in the great outdoors. Whether you want to spend the day on the mountains and just have a quick meal before going to bed and waking up early to do it again, or want to enjoy a little R&R on our patio and a leisurely day strolling through Manchester, this place is special - we love it and think you will too.
