ABOUT THE SPACE: This single-family, elevated home is situated on 1.35 acres in Mount Pleasant. The property sits well back from the main road offering plenty of privacy and a fence around the yard, though not fully enclosed. There's plenty of parking outside of the garage.
GARAGE: The ground level includes storage for both guests and ourselves (we live in the RV/Travel Trailer in the backyard). We provide some beach essentials such as beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a skim board and cooler. We have beach cruisers available for your use as well.
KITCHEN: Equipped with extras like an insta-pot, blender, toaster oven, and mini waffle maker. The island seats 4 people and a couch right off the kitchen offers more seating.
There's a “bonus room” off the kitchen that includes a queen-size, pull-out sofa bed. We used this space as a play room, so if you have kids, you'll love the sight-lines from the kitchen. This room has access to the fully-screened in back patio.
LIVING ROOM: Features a cathedral ceiling with sky lights and plenty of windows. The 65" smart TV isn't too bad either! There’s a large sectional as well as a sofa, chair, and floor pillows.
BEDROOM 1: The master bedroom is located on the main floor. You'll pass the large washer and dryer (available for use) and closet on your way to the bedroom. The master is extremely spacious and includes a king-size bed and it’s own 65” smart TV. The ensuite bathroom was fully renovated in July 2022 and includes a shower as well as stand-alone bathtub.
BEDROOM 2: Located on the second floor with king-size bed and 50” smart TV. Equipped with blackout curtains.
BEDROOM 3: Located on the second floor with both a queen and full-size bed. Equipped with blackout curtains.
Bedroom 2 and 3 share a fully renovated (July 2022) jack-and-jill bathroom with combo shower/bathtub.
A printer and electric sit-stand desk is located on the landing of the second floor.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
Since we live full-time in the travel trailer on the backside of the property, you’ll see us come and go (we have a separate driveway/parking). Kyle runs a personal training business from the garage but a separare entry will be used and we will stay behind the curtians. Our 3.5 year old son and 8 year old puppy enjoy being outside and may wish to use the small playset while you’re around, but we’ll do our very best to respect your space and privacy.
Our house is child-friendly since we have a toddler ourselves. There are retractable baby gates installed at both sides of the front porch, the garage stairwell, and top and bottom of the main staircase. Most windows have built-in window stoppers. Almost all electrical outlets in the common areas are covered.
At the request of our guests, we offer other baby/kid items such as: high-chair, play mat, baby bath, travel stroller, pack n' play and kitchen tower. Additionally, we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both full-size bathrooms. There’s dishwasher and laundry detergent, some toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels to get you strted as well.
