Misrepresented & Poor Communication
Overall, my stay was pleasant since my husband and I were in the master bedroom, which contained one of the 3+ advertised bathrooms.The issue being, there were only two full bathrooms and one half bath. This was not sufficient since there were 7 total overnight guests, so 5 people were sharing one bathroom. Additionally, NO soap was provided by the host for bathing, nor were there sufficient towels or wash cloths. When I called the host regarding insufficient towels, he sounded quite irritated, but indicated he would have more towels "sent over". I have yet to receive a response to my question of whether the Amazon packages that were delivered contained the towels. Perhaps the host was irritated because I had to contact VRBO Customer Service in order for the host to send the arrival details for access to the rental prior to arrival. Finally, there was insufficient seating for dining since the dining table only had 4 chairs. The other 3 chairs shown in the picture at the kitchen island, were all broken and discarded in the garage. The rental listing states the property sleeps 11. Fortunately, there were not more of us, although I booked for 8 adults and 1 child. If you plan to do ANY cooking, at least there is salt and pepper now, since we had to purchase during our stay. Regarding the location, the neighborhood is old, with this being one of the limited new builds. While the property itself is nice, it's obvious the owner is only interested in the rental income.
