Maui Sunset is an oceanfront property just off of South Kihei Road.
Desirable and centrally located condo in Kihei.
6 guests maximum occupancy in condo.
Rental price is based on up to 4 guests.
Extra guest fee of $20 per person, per night added for more than 4 guests.

PLEASE NOTE: AC units are on 4 hour timers. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area. Lovely cross breeze when trade winds are blowing.

NOW USING MICROFIBER BEACH TOWELS IN OUR CONDO - They are thinner than regular beach towels, but wick water from your body, resist sand buildup, dry faster and are lighter than a regular beach towel for easier transportation.

Enjoy the Island feel from our renovated two bedroom condo conveniently located in central Kihei. Newer kitchen, bathrooms and tile flooring. We have microfiber beach towels and beach items: ice chest, chairs, umbrella for your use. There are air conditioning wall units in both bedrooms and the living area which are on 4 hour timers as well as ceiling fans in each room and a floor fan if needed. When the trade winds are blowing we suggest opening the sliders, close the screens and turn on the ceiling fans for a nice cross breeze.

Travel comfortably with another couple or a family. Plenty of room.

The complex is beautiful and from the lanai you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee bathing in the sun while viewing Haleakala volcano and garden views. You may see a peek of ocean from our lanai, but we price our unit as a garden view.

The pool, property, lawn and all other amenities are well maintained. There is an office on property located in the B building for all your inquiries about the Maui Sunset property. If you need assistance with our condo; contact our property manager first, then the on island contact. The Maui Sunset office only registers our guests and distributes the condo keys, pool key fob and parking pass. Parking is not designated so you may park anywhere it is not designated for another use.

Dine in using our fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances or better yet head down to the group BBQ's to catch up on what other travelers or locals are up to. The best recipes are exchanged down there. If you are not interested in cooking at the condo, there are plenty of restaurants on the island to satisfy your needs. Let us know if you need recommendations?

Tennis and Pickleball courts nearby at the county park just adjacent to the Maui Sunset complex. There is an activity desk at the poolside for rentals and booking excursions.

Great Location + Amenities

Communicating with the property manager was so easy, she checked us on to make sure we got there and had everything we needed. The property was wonderful with kids, lots of room to run around, had a pool and access to yard games right there. This unit specifically also had watersports/toys available to use: boogie boards, snorkels and flippers, and sand buckets and shovels, all the fun things. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the grounds and all it had to offer. Great location. Felt it could have been a bit cleaner in hall bathroom shower. Otherwise, it met all of our needs.

Convenient Condo on the Beach

The condo was a great location for all day trips. Fully stocked with everything we wanted to take to the beach- chairs, unbrella, cooler. Having laundry in the unit was wonderful. We really enjoyed coffee on the spacious balcony. The grounds were beautiful and we saw many, many sea turtles on the beach at night on the beach. Buy some water shoes on Amazon as the water can be a bit rocky. Be sure to visit the upscale food truck market nearby. As 2 couples, the second bedroom is not comparable to the master. The bedroom window looks onto a brick wall and the bedroom is dark. The bathroom in the hall is quite small with no storage or counter space. The shower is tight but had a great shower head. It would be fine for a family. Very nicely furnished and comfortable sittimg areas. A great value for your money in beautiful Maui. Would stay again.

Great place in South Maui

We booked this property because of the spacious size, and amenities. The unit came equipped with all the items needed for the beach which was a great bonus. Proximity to stores, restaurants, and beaches was quite convenient. The unit did have unexpected wear and tear as well as the oven not working great. It was also at the end closest to the road which was noisy at times.

Wish We Could Stay Longer

We stayed in 4 different places on our trip to Hawaii and thought this one has the best mix of the accommodations being nice and nearby amenities being plentiful and varied with access to the beach being easy and no parking issues without being a big city tourist trap like Honolulu, or having virtually nothing like Hana. We would stay here again.

Why they chose this property

This is our third condo in the complex and we have yet to find anything that compares to the beachfront location and grounds. The lawn area is unbelievable. We love Maui Sunset for its central location in Maui close to all great beaches and activities.

What makes this property unique

I love the fact that you can be on the beach in less than 3 minutes to take a morning walk, watch the evening sunset and enjoy a coffee or adult beverage. My children love that their Maui home has such a huge lawn that they can run and play on all day and night. That is when they are not splashing about in the large pool or enjoying their favorite beaches within a short drive. Nothing compares to this.
