I really wanted to love it

The post promised gated parking which was not the case. Upon arriving, I had to reach out to the host to see where to park as the posting showed actual parking stals. I was told to park out between the first gate or out on the street which was quite a walk to the actual room. We received no check in information AT ALL, so after having to ask a lady on the premisis where to go I had to reach out to the host another time for the room info. We were told room 2 and given the code. The place was nice and clean so i was willing to pass over the difficult check in and parking. The pool looked nice but not heated as the post says and it was pretty dirty so i had to clean it a bit before letting my son in. The property itself had some mess and scattered items, we didnt see the fire pit. Weather was in the 90s, and I tried to put the thermostat to 70 but it wouldnt budge from 81. When i reached out to the host about it, we were told that they gave us the wrong room and asked to move. Mind you this was in the evening already but we moved to room 1, which as soon as we walked in, we were met with a horrible smoke smell and bugs! Pincher bugs and beetles were EVERYWHERE. Ended up leavig after reaching out to the host with no further response when I said the room was unacceptable. The whole thing was a mess. It has potential to be a really cute nice place to stay but the post should be more acurate and check in information provided. We drove 1.5 hours home but did end up being refunded.
