Gambill Creek Farm - Rural retreat for the perfect vacation getaway.

This rural farm retreat is located on 40 acres of beautiful timber and pasture land. We have abundant wildlife and amazing views of the foothills surrounding us. There are numerous hiking trails and mountain streams in our vicinity and we are only a few minutes drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Stone Mountain State Park and the Thurmond Chatham Game Lands. If you enjoy remote relaxation in the midst of beautiful landscapes and tranquility, this destination is for you.

Our home offers bright wood decor with stone and tile accents. Furnishings are comfortable for laid back relaxation. Bring your fishing poles! We have two stocked fish ponds for your catch & release enjoyment. We also have a perimeter hiking trail for some on-property exercise.

- No fireworks. Our rescue animals are terrified by loud noises.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful location. Wayne was a great host and very quick to respond. We couldn’t have asked for a better family weekend getaway. Very blessed to have had the opportunity to experience such a relaxing weekend. The cat was amazing and friendly and brought lots of smiles to iur family❤️

Beautiful and peaceful

Cant say enough how nice this is!! The house was very clean and comfortable Enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountain and the farm ..was a real treat that the leaves were changing and to walk down to the horses , donkey and goat!! This was the most peaceful, relaxing and for sure quiet accommodations we have ever experienced!!!!

I'm originally from Minnesota but migrated south after college. I’ve lived in Miami, Birmingham, Asheville and a few other spots along the way. My wife and I moved back to NC to be closer to family. We have rescued race horses and love helping our local community. I enjoy hiking, boating and motorcycles. I’m available to provide guided motorcycle tours for anyone interested.
