About this property

Previously owned and converted by a local artist, the barn features a combination of original character and unique updates. In addition to enough space for a large group or family, the barn overlooks a pond, views of the VT hills, and even the occasional sheep!

The main bedroom includes a full bed, while a loft area houses two single beds. An open-concept room includes a pool table, bunks beds, and extra sleep spots.

We are located on a dirt road just outside the village of Salem, NY. We’re 40-minute drive from Saratoga, NY, Manchester, VT, and about an hour from Albany.

We (Treavor and Laura) live just across the dirt road with our three kids. Laura is outside most days tending to the flower gardens behind the barn. On Saturdays she works on flower bouquets in the barn area of the garage. Treavor is the animal guy. He’s always out messing around with fencing or herding sheep. You will see us outside, but we’ll take your lead on any interaction!

The Breathtaking Barn

This is an absolute gem of a property. The barn itself is unique, but the property is even better. Whether it be chickens, roosters, sheep or sweet and friendly dogs, there is always something going on. The flowers are gorgeous, and the family is so welcoming. This is such a peaceful and relaxing setting, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Charming Barn

We loved our stay at the spacious barn. The set up was perfect for our family of 5. The kids loved the game room with bunk beds and we enjoyed our peace and quiet in our room on the other side of the house. Laura and Treavor were the kindest hosts, welcoming us with fresh eggs from their farm and a hands on experience feeding the sheep and chickens. I loved Laura’s beautiful garden and watching her make gorgeous bouquets out of them. The views were amazing overlooking a small lake in the back. We would definitely come back again!

Fantastic Experience

Everything about the place was great. Laura was great on communications and we arrived without any problem. Checkin was a breeze. Plenty of privacy in a lovely location, only the sounds of nature and the occasional sheep or goat. This was incredibly relaxing -- just what we needed. The scenic view of the gardens and the pond was beautiful and soothing. Highly recommended!
