This custom, off-grid yurt is secluded in the mountains of Southern Utah just 25 miles above Zion National Park. Enjoy the natural beauty all around while nestled between the pine and aspen trees on a family owned ranch. Views of the pink cliffs and mountains from the deck are spectacular! After a day in the nearby National Parks, retreat to your own slice of heaven and enjoy the cool evening breeze, amazing views, and wildlife that live there.
The yurt was hand built by the owners, with much of the lumber sourced and milled right on the ranch, from trees that were killed by the pine beetle. It is completely off the utility grid and powered by the sun with a green energy solar system that allows for all the comforts of home.
The yurt includes:
Master bedroom with a king bed
Queen pull down murphy bed in the family room
Two full beds in the loft and two more roll out pads for kids.
2 sofa sleepers
Bathroom with toilet, bidet, spacious shower, plenty of towels and wash cloths.
Full kitchen with all cooking utensils and spices. Just bring your food.
Spring water, right out of the tap.
50 inch Smart LCD TV,
Free Wi-Fi
Sleeps 8 adults, more if some are children.
Because of the cool days there is no need for air conditioning, On warmer days the yurt has screen doors and a dome that opens to allow heat to escape. For the cool nights, close the dome and turn on the propane heater or the wood stove for a warm and cozy evening. The yurt also as a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place, the Yurt is what you’re looking for.. Had everything we needed, solar powered, hot water, small kitchen, beautiful deck, and nice cool weather.
We had the best time ever! Such a peaceful setting from the quaking aspens to the deer to the sweet cows. Birds, butterflies and a gentle beeeze! Who could ask for more!
I loved the yurt and its location, the yurt was big enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. The surrounding area was amazing and the fact you could walk 100ft from the yurt and see deer was an awesome experience for everyone. The location of the yurt was fantastic, the fact is i wanted to be alone and i got what i wanted. Lots of trees and fresh air, if you want an experience of off grid then this place is just that. The host was also fantastic with quick response times and any assistance we needed. This yurt is a must visit destination!!
