About this property

Cozy bunkhouse nestled in the trees with a large open yard with hammocks and room to play. Huge communal kitchen, wood fired sauna, shared showers, propane BBQ, and just a 3 minute walk to mermaid beach.

The earth bunk 1 feature a cozy space for up to 4 people. There is a queen, and two twin beds. I supply duvets and pillows. Bring your own top sheet, fitted sheet, pillow case, duvet cover/sleeping bag. The showers are shared between guests at the resort. Each of the bunk house suites are attached to a toilet and sink. The toilet and sink are attached to your room, but you may be sharing it with the adjoining room that is attached to the other side of the washroom.

There are 4 of these rooms in a row. There may be other guests around the property as well.

The Mermaid Lounge is next to the property. You are available to hang out, order food, and even have room service if you wish! There is artisan homemade pizza, caprese salad, cocktails, beers, other snacks and treats, and sometimes some music events. OPEN end of june to early september.

We highly recommend this place

We loved staying here. Samantha, the owner, is attentive and good communicator in a real and vulnerable way. The kitchen is amazing, all you’ll need to cook an awesome meal. Wifi works perfect in the common area and kitchen and they have awesome books there, books that will inspire your body in all its levels. We had two dinners at the mermaid cafe, delicious pizza and charcuterie boards, and the couple that run it are very lovely, jus wholesome. The beds were comfortable, our kids were super happy with their high bunks. The resort is right in the middle of the island,so it’s the perfect location to walk or bike anywhere. Just an amazing place to stay, highly recommend it.
