About this property

Stargazing Glamping Swim Oasis

Sip a cup of coffee on your private deck overlooking the forest. Swim in our natural spring-fed little lake, canoe, or read a book in a hammock. Make memories in nature at The Hideout. With a Lotus Belle Tent surrounded by wildlife and stars galore, our magical oasis will be your unforgettable getaway.

*we do not have a zipline for public use - this is not included in your rental and not available for use*

The space:

This is a family-owned property and we want to share our little Hideout with you. Please be aware that you may see members of our family from time-time but we'll only interact with you as much as you like. Your star-gazing tent is tucked back and this space is private to just you.

Common spaces: The natural spring-fed pond area and bathroom are considered common spaces and members of our family may use them during your stay.

Guest access: you will have access to the natural spring-fed pond grounds. Please note our property is fenced off and we ask that you not explore beyond these fenced-off areas.

What should you bring?

- Food and drinks in coolers with ice.
- Charcoal for the BBQ Grill.
- Fire Wood for the Fire Pit.
- Swimming towels
- Water floats & other water toys

What we provide:

- A beautifully decorated tent with a comfortable queen bed and a daybed (twin) functioning as a couch with a twin trundle beneath it.
- A full bathroom with hot shower, towels, and bathroom essentials.
- A record player and a few random records (bring your own records!!)
- Canoes and Oars
- Extra sleeping pads (upon request)

Other things:

The tent will sleep up to 7 comfortably: 1 Queen bed, 2 Twin Mattresses, and we can provide up to 3 additional sleeping mats.

If you have a larger group, please ask! You're welcome to pitch additional tents! Our base cost covers up to 2 guests and each guest over that base cost is an additional $25/per night.

My family had an amazing time staying here! It was a perfect and much needed getaway. Very relaxing atmosphere, kids absolutely loved the swimming pond (I could not get them away from it) and the amenities, from the propane bbq grill, cornhole set, fresh coffee beans to the very nice bathhouse, made us forget we were camping at all! We will definitely be headed back for our next adventure. Thanks!

This was an AMAZING place!! The reason for four stars is because there was a glitch with the reservation system so we didn’t get any communication beforehand, but it wasn’t the host’s fault. She was great once she realized we were there. And the inaccuracy with the description was because there were even MORE amenities than listed online. Fresh water, fridge, amazing outdoor cooking area, hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner. I wish we could have stayed a whole week! Will try to be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful, private, and relaxing property. Michelle has thought of every detail for comfort inside this Yurt, with such a comfy bed, linens, and outside with an amazing outdoor kitchen with hot running water. Just around the corner, down a very nice walkway is a wonderful bath house with walk in shower. The private location next to the pond is perfect for relaxing watching the frogs and fish swimming around. This property is very private as the owner's home is hidden away to ensure complete privacy during your stay here. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you for all the hard work and effort you have put in to make this such a nice getaway!

Lovely setting nestled in the trees. The yurt was roomy and very comfortable. Bathroom just down a short path. During our stay, Michelle messaged to make sure we had everything we needed.

Magical!

This place is truly MAGICAL. There is no way to explain how charming this little place is. You drive down a long driveway, then views open up of this beautiful, picture perfect summer camp oasis. We celebrated my best friend and her upcoming marriage here. It felt so special. The property is also very private and tucked away. The grounds, the tent, and even the bathroom were so beautiful. I couldn't recommend a place more, can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Oasis

We stayed for one night, the host was very accommodating, kind and made herself available for anything! The grounds were private, expansive and very well maintained! Our kiddos were in heaven with water, fishing, fire pit and the hammock! I was warmed all night with a heated bed, we all slept well, and want to come back for a much longer stay! It was full family fun and a step away from the chaos of life! And the bathroom, ladies is amazing! Rain shower, fully furnished, towels supplied and just far enough to allow for some peace and quiet! 10/10 we can’t wait to go back!!

A perfect glamping getaway!

First off, the host! Michelle, you went above and beyond. Thank you for the rides and being so kind! I really enjoyed talking with you! I could spend every day here! The tent was was pristine and the bed was so comfortable. I loved the decor and the record player too! The property is beautiful and secluded, the pond and conoes gave it the perfect summer camp feel. Peaceful and serine. Plenty of seating and shade, tables and a sink. Well lit with twinkle lights in the evening. The bathroom was gorgeous, and quite high tech! Plenty of amenities provided. They really didnt cut any corners here and i highly recommend this property! I'll be back, for a longer stay next time! Thanks again!

100% 5 STAR REVIEW! BOOK!

We booked Michelle's yurt to provide our children with a natural, relaxing, and family focused trip. WOW! We were impressed! The property is beautiful, lighted with the touch of party lights. You fall asleep to nature's sounds. The walk to the bathroom is laid with rock. We enjoyed breakfast at the picnic table watching the sunrise hit the pond. The air was clean, super clean. The trees were elegant and tall. The yurt fit our family of 7 and was clean. We felt blessed by Michelle's family's hospitality! Literally if she invited us to her Thanksgiving table we would feel enthusiastic to join because they treat you as family. Michelle made sure all my children were warm (we stayed in the middle of September), by providing us with extra blankets as needed. You can 100% trust this stay. I give my recommendation as a Mom. We already miss this special property and it's only been a day! PLUS we left with ideas to add to our own family spaces at home. Blessings to your family Michelle! And to those who will stay there!
