Thank you for a very pleasant stay at your home. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Ryan was a great host. He took care of an issue that we had when we got there quickly.
The cabin was perfect for our long weekend, and our dog loved the property! Communication was great and the check in/check out process was super simple. We're looking forward to booking again in the future!
We had a wonderful family vacation at the cabin! It had all the amenities we could possibly need and then some! Ryan and Riley were so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Every process was easy. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The location was serene and peaceful - our kids really enjoyed playing in the creek behind the cabin! We enjoyed the fire pit and made s’mores! As for the area - it’s perfect for all things outdoors. Check out Killington for the summer mountain activities, Camp Plymouth State Park for fishing, boating and swimming, and Buttermilk Falls for the scenery and swimming holes! Dinner at Calcuttas and pie from Vermont Apple Pie Bakery were both delish. I’d love to visit the cabin again in the wintertime!
Very comfortable, cozy and fun. Loved hearing the brook near by. Location was perfect, close to Ludlow. Family went snowboarding in Killington. Would love to experience the cabin again in warmer weather and sit on the deck and admire the view. Communication with Ryan was very easy and he was incredibly responsive.
We spent our 30th wedding anniversary at this lovely Vermont cabin, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, it felt warm and welcoming. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and so comfortable—it really felt like a home away from home. We loved the thoughtful touches and great amenities that made our stay extra special. The location was ideal for exploring the area, yet peaceful and quiet when we wanted to relax. The host was absolutely wonderful—kind, responsive, and made everything so easy. We’re so glad we chose this cabin to celebrate such a special milestone and would happily come back again!Thank you Ryan and Riley
The hosts were as great as the place. The cabin was nicely furnished and sitting by the stream was so pleasant I never got to try out the swing on the porch. I would highly recommend this rental.
We had a lovely stay at the property! It was clean and comfortable.
There was a lot of mud coming to the property.

Hi Julia, in Vermont there are 2 wet seasons (mud season and stick season) and in December we are not quite into the peak snow season. We are glad you had a great stay at the cabin and are sorry that the rain may have hindered your stay.
The house was very clean, very cozy. The owners gave great instructions (left a folder with a ton of great info) on every feature of the house and offered suggestions on things to do, and places to explore. Perfect spot if you’re looking for some place quiet and private to get away. Looking forward to going back sometime in the near future!
The cabin was clean and offered a nice relaxing location. There was a front porch with rocking chairs and porch swing which we enjoyed for morning coffee and evening drinks. The deck in the rear was large and roomy with comfortable chairs. A fire pit offered evening fires for quiet reflection and enjoyment. The kitchen and living areas had everything that we needed. There were even some challenging and competitive games of darts and Pac Man played downstairs. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing which was our intent when we booked the Cozy Cabin in Cavendish.
This rental should be the gold standard for all others to follow. The description for the cabin does not oversell -- or disappoint! Everything is even more charming than described. Ryan and Riley have left no detail overlooked. So much care has gone into making a stay here a perfectly delightful experience. We were so so sad to leave and hope to return, soon!

Carolyn and her group were amazing guests! They are welcome back to our cabin anytime :)
A beautiful cabin so well laid out with lovely touch’s and such thoughtful decor everywhere from the stunning antler chandelier welcoming us on the very comfy covered front porch, to the gorgeous master bedroom with fantastic built in drawers, thirteen if I recall, with yet another entirely different chandelier in Black, draped in vines on a dimmer switch,… love dimmers! No matter where you are inside or out, you’ll be invited to linger. The HUGE deck, comfy furnishings, the rushing stream always in ear shot, even inside when any window is open will lull you! Inside, all the furniture is comfortable upstairs and down. The record player, oh the old music‼ We love our music. The games, endless choices but PacMan was OUR game and we relived our youth for a few days, that felt incredible. The pellet stove was so relaxing and cozy, especially in the evening when we’d turn the other lights off or down. So much more we can’t get to! This stay was everything we’d hoped for while celebrating our 38th anniversary 🥰. Just down the street is the BEST general store, the meats are amazing and the store is huge! We’re dying to know what the MASSIVE Rhododendron is going to look like when it comes into bloom!!!!! I meant to ask Ryan lol! What a sweet, kind soul he is and his wife Riley as well We’re sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to meet them but we thank them for allowing us to share such a special part of their lives, with us Thank you!!! We’ll be back! Audrey and Bobby
