Best host and house with everything we needed including lovely soaps, lotions, shampoos, extra towels, marshmallow sticks, candles, lighters, plenty of coffee and a single serve coffee maker with milk frother! The new deep soaking tub was amazing!!! We cooked all meals and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some extras! Maya is a wonderful responsive hostess! The house is open and roomy! The views of the mountains from the deck were fabulous! No complaints at all!!

Wonderful guests, we would recommend them to any host while we hope they return to us soon. Welcomed back any time!
House was very clean, relaxing, spacious, & comfortable. Had beautiful views in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable. Owners/managers respond promptly. The driveway is too narrow & has a sudden turn that seems dangerous & is very difficult to navigate & needs reflectors & guardrails. House lacks nightlights -- needed for safety. Kitchen/house generally well-stocked but owners should provide more bath/kitchen towels (we had only 1 bath towel per person & 1 kitchen towel/dishcloth & who wants to do laundry on vacation?) & should provide more of the following: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, dishwasher pods, & laundry pods, especially if owners want guests to leave the place clean & especially when larger groups are staying & especially in this remote location requiring long drives to purchase such items at stores, & guests shouldn't have to buy entire packages of these items, which is much more than they'd need for their weeklong stay, which means leaving behind items for which the guests paid for other guests/owners to use. Cellar light went on & off at random, which was unsettling wondering if someone was down there.

First, we would like to thank you for staying with us. Secondly, thank you for taking the time to write out your findings. We will respond to some of your remarks to help other guests better understand what was addressed. When staying in the mountains, especially at the property with amazing views, it is expected for at least a part of the road leading up to the property to be steep. For people that did not live in the mountains, or visit often, navigating roads may be challenging. Personally, this was new to us as well, and when we were choosing a property to purchase, we went with something that we believed is easily manageable. Your suggestion to place the reflectors is great and we will work on getting them. When it comes to disposables, we provide the starter supplies. You’ve found 2 rolls of tp in each bathroom (4 total), 2 rolls of paper towels, two pods for a dishwasher and two pods for a washer. Bottle of dish detergent was provided as well as the sponge. Two trash bags. Bathrooms are supplied with bottle of hand soap, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (full size bottles). All this is listed. Anything that our guests purchase for their personal use, they take home with them. We also provide cleaning supplies in case you would like to tidy up for yourself during your stay. Our check out instructions ask if you would kindly turn the lights off, leave the beds unmade so the cleaning crew can tell which ones were used, and to lock the doors. We do not even ask for dishwasher to be loaded. The house sits in the neighborhood, it is on close to two acres of land so you get your privacy. However, the house is close to everything, ie Dollar General is 3.9 miles away, Publix is 7.9 miles away, Walmart 11 miles, just to name the few stores guests can visit during their stay. When it comes to light going on and off in the basement, there is one possible explanation, someone was flipping the switch, either one in the hallway, or, the unlabeled one in the living area. No one can come to the house without you seeing them as they need to drive up the driveway. To be completely transparent, we were beyond surprised to see a 3/5 rating. We have been hosting for over a year now and you were our only Vrbo guest. We successfully host on another platform and have 40 reviews there with a 4.95 rating. About a dozen direct bookings, and bunch of guests that do not leave a public rating but rather prefer to leave their impressions in the guest book at the property. With all this said, we hope that we would still get Vrbo guests and that they will not be deterred by the 3/5 rating as that was merely your personal view and your experience. Once again, thank you for staying with us.
