Enjoy this 440 square foot suite in the peaceful center of it all. Stay in a beautiful neighborhood of 1/2 acre homes, with your own private entrance, large bedroom, new kitchenette and new bathroom. The king bedroom is downstairs at the entry level, the light and bright living area with beautiful views of the garden, and the bath are upstairs. Do not stay here if you are super allergic to cats. I have cats in the main house and we share central air. You do have to cross a paver and grass pathway to get to your entrance.

Our stay at Amy’s private cozy apartment was perfect! We were so blessed to meet and engage with someone so thoughtful, kind and caring. We were in the process of moving and this pet friendly apartment was everything we could’ve asked for! Our cats were more devastated than us to be leaving this apartment, as they became very comfortable the first night there. The MOST comfortable bed, private environment…and if you’re lucky enough you’ll get to experience and relax to Amy’s beautiful piano talent through the living room walls.
Everything was just as we hoped. We traveled there for a funeral and it was nice to have such an easy check in process. The bed was very comfortable and my daughter, who slept on the couch, said it was also very nice. All bedding provided was clean and comfortable. It's not a big space, but it's perfect for those who are just sleeping there. Glad we found it!
Apartment was clean and well taken care of. The host made sure we had all the information needed for getting into and out of the apartment and explained all the easy to follow privacy rules ahead of time. We enjoyed our long weekend stay and even hit up the nearby shopping, breakfast, and coffee shops which is only about 5 minutes away drive time. Neighborhood is very quiet and away from the hustle, bustle, and potential traffic of the city centers. We definitely will keep this in mind when we return to visit family in the future.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights while visiting our daughter at a nearby college. Was clean and easy to access. You can hear activity from the rest of the home. The host is very communicative.

Activity. like piano music? Laughter? Vacuum?
One thing people like about this place is that it's peaceful. So I'm pretty sure whatever activity you heard was peaceful activity.
This property fit our need of a comfy place to lay our head. However, it could have used some more cleaning and attention to it. There was an immediate musty smell upon entering the unit. There were also various cobwebs and other areas that could have used a dusting. Besides those points, the king sized bed provided was quite comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.
To begin, Amy is an incredible host! She is very attentive, kind, and wonderful to talk to! During my stay, she gave me many tips and tricks about the area, from recommendations for places to check out to history of the region. She is very responsive and happy to help if anything comes up. The space itself was so comfortable, with a very large bed, TVs both upstairs and downstairs, plenty of cooking tools, a lovely bathroom, and much more! The neighborhood is very quiet and calm, and is also within reasonable distance to many businesses, restaurants, and more. If staying in the area, I highly recommend Amy's place!
I needed a place to stay close to family who ended up being minutes away from this property. It was affordable and convenient. Check in/check out was easy, host was very kind and accommodating. Area is safe & quiet but very dark which was a little hard to navigate at night. Beautiful neighborhood to be in, especially in the fall. There was plenty of room for my teen son and I. It's cozy and stocked with snacks and drinks. It was nice having a little fridge for our own groceries. Coffee maker was great to have. Bed was comfortable, a heater was provided which was nice. Overall a good experience that worked out well for our needs.

Thanks for staying! I kind of love that our neighborhood has no streetlights, but maybe I should do some solar lanterns along the path to the door.
We had a three day event at the Washington County fairgrounds. This apartment was perfect place for us to relax at the end of the day and get ready for the next. The entry level bedroom was bright, spacious with a king size bed, large dresser and closet space. Upstairs was large couch, cute breakfast bar, kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. The bathroom was spacious as well. The upper level windows looked out on mature trees giving it a treehouse vibe. the drive-through the countryside to the fairgrounds for our events was really pretty. There were plenty of restaurants in stores and other amenities nearby. The neighborhood is very quiet and beautiful. Parking on the side with the entrance was simple and safe.
Such an amazing experience booking vrbo for my first time! Amy is super friendly, welcoming and responsive. Bed was very comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed having a TV upstairs and downstairs! My dog loved playing catch on the private yard outside. Would highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Amy Taylor
I grew up in Florida and lived other places after, and I've lived here in Oregon for 30 years. This house is a peaceful place that I like to share, because it's too much house for just me, after my kids grew up. I don't meet lots of my guests, because of the corner lot and separate entrance, but if you want to, just let me know.
Why they chose this property
It's one of the few 1/2 acre neighborhoods in this increasingly dense area. It's quiet. The power lines are underground. I like my neighbors and they support my being a host.
What makes this property unique
Private, quiet, beautiful walks (ask for recommendations). If you hear anything from my side of the house, it will be piano music or laughter, I hope.
