The Kraken-6-pass golf cart! Plus Pool

Summary:
The Kraken is new with tasteful Kraken decorations to pull the space together. Packed with a big 75" TV, big double queen guest room, and king sized master bedroom. The Kraken is the perfect beach house to get your toes in the water in minutes, the perfect beach community to walk to local cuisine, with the perfect creature comforts of home. The penthouse floor is for families/groups that want to have fun together with epic sunsets perfect for sun downers.

The Space:
I designed this space to be comfortable, relaxing, and spacious for groups of up to 6 people. The photos are exact, the furnishing are new and comfy, and the balcony views are best right after an afternoon shower. All the interior was redone in 2023, all the furniture is new in 2023, even the pool was just completed and new in 2023!

This booking is for the top unit on the duplex and you can book both units for added fun for groups up to 12 people. The property has large comfortable beds only! I have stayed too many times cramped in a bed smaller than a queen and I want guests to sleep well after a sun and fun-filled day.

The kitchen is packed full of any cooking item you need, with larger pots/pans to easily create a larger meal for all hungry guests. Oh the garage!!! It's huge - on your side you'll be able to park 2 cars (plus one in the driveway) and still have room for bikes, toys, and anything else you want to bring. Plus in the garage there's a beach cart, beach chairs, and even an extra full fridge to stock with drinks during your stay.

Do you click to get the Golf Cart? It's a 6 seater Lithium cart that's $10 a day, billed at time of booking. Makes the run to Kooky Coconut for some Capitain Butterscotch with the group so much fun. It even has ground effect lights and a stereo to cruise in more style then everyone else. Safely parked in the garage for easy access, charging, and staying clean!

The Neighborhood:
THE BEST - I have been vacationing to beaches since I was 5 years old. I can tell you that after spending weeks and weeks of my life at the beach; Indian Rocks Beach is the best I've found. After 35 years of traveling to beaches I picked IRB and finally bought a beach home for our family to enjoy for years to come. Easy smooth warm beach swimming, fun unique dining, lots and lots to do all over - get here as soon as you can to experience it yourself........

Getting Around:
FEET FIRST - your toes will be in the gulf in under a two minute walk. Plus you can walk to the inter-coastal side in the same time. Your feet can get you to a gas stations for extra ice/beverages in two minutes as well. Hungry? There are several restaurants within a two minute walk also.

Other Things to Note:
I have the beach items handled. 6 beach towels are in the closet in the guest bathroom. Plus theres a beach cart in the garage and 6 beach chairs.

We are a family of 6 and will not tolerate disrespectful behavior of any kind. We spend several weeks a year at our property and expect guests to treat our space with integrity.

ALL GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO DRIVE, SIGN A LIABILITY WAIVER AND PROVIDE US WITH A PHOTO OF THEIR DRIVER'S LICENSE BEFORE THEIR STAY.

Kraken Review July 2025

We stayed at the Kraken for a week with our children and family members. It was a great place with plenty of space and amenities. We really appreciated the golf cart access and all the beach supplies and toys since we flew in. The rental was very roomy and just what we were looking for. It had a nice-sized pool shared between the rental units. Overall, it was a really great stay and we would gladly return for our annual trip. The host communication was really great throughout.

Great Location

Duplex was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for a family plus close to shops and restaurants. Short walk to the beach and having beach chairs, beach towels & cart available was great. Caleb was a welcoming and responsive host. I highly recommend his place for a relaxing beach vacation!

This was a wonderful property to rent. Our family has been on several beach vacations and this was top notch in comparison. The unit was extremely clean and Caleb was very helpful with anything that came up. It was close to shops and excellent restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Snowbirds 2025

Found the What’s Kraken on VRBO and booked with Caleb for January/February/March. We loved the space and have already booked for 2026. The neighborhood is perfect with the quietness and location to wonderful restaurants and of course proximity to the beach! Condo was clean upon our arrival..the pool was perfect as well. Honestly, we loved everything about the time we spent there. Looking forward to 2026

Interior is very spacious. Located just a block from beach. Lots of seating at pool in backyard. Pool is shared with units in house and units in house next door. It was never crowded though. Host was easy to get a hold of.

Great location in IRB. Modern, clean and quiet

Caleb, the owner is super responsive and a cool dude. Beds were fantastic and the entire unit is brand new. Was entirely suitable for me and my wife. Perfectly useful for a family of 5. Walkable to restaurants and bars including two of the finest eateries on the island. Neighborhood is warm and friendly and everyone says "good morning" on a morning walk with their dog.

Outstanding beach location and great setup, had a blast

We flew in and arrived at night to the property. Getting in was easy with the communication from Caleb. Place was spacious and there was plenty of room for a six person family. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the grill in the back by the pool. We purchased grouper and snapper at the local fish market. Swam in the pool and went to the beaches. Having beach chairs, beach towels, a cart, and umbrella available was great. We flew so having those items available was excellent. Caleb was a great, responsive host. Overall great time and stay, five stars.

During my recent stay at the kraken, I was thoroughly impressed by how immaculately clean everything was. From the pristine bathrooms to the spotless kitchen, the attention to cleanliness truly stood out. Moreover, this Airbnb had everything one could possibly need for a comfortable trip. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, making it convenient to prepare meals. The cozy living area and comfortable bedding made for a relaxing stay. One of the standout features of this Airbnb was the availability of a golf cart for guests to use. This added an extra element of fun and convenience to our trip, allowing us to easily explore the area and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, my experience was wonderful, thanks to the cleanliness, amenities, and added bonus of the golf cart. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Quiet IRB Location

We are two seniors escaping the winter and new to IRB. We had a very pleasant two weeks at this property. We liked the proximity to the beach, restaurants, and the bay. Walking in the neighborhood was so enjoyable and the people friendly. The heated pool was delightful on the few warm days we had. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. Check in worked well. Our unit was two flights up and there was an elevator, but we didn’t use it. There are plenty of beach chairs and towels which was appreciated. We liked having a garage and the balcony for relaxing in the evening. Kitchen dishes were plentiful and there was a great set of cookware. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for us as a couple or for a family.

Best home away from home!

From the moment our family stepped through the door, we were blown away and at ease that the unit matched the photos and it was as lovely as it was described! Caleb was not joking about the comfortable beds—our party agreed that they were the best beds we’ve ever slept in that weren’t our own! The entire unit was spacious where our 2 families never felt cramped and the large beautiful kitchen allowed us 4 adults to prepare meals all at once without bumping into each other—which comes in handy when you’re trying to quickly feed your kids. A nice surprise that wasn’t mentioned in the listing is that there’s also a small elevator in the unit! It was extremely helpful being able to place heavy luggage in there after a long travel day with our infants and not needing to juggle everything up 2 flights of stairs! From the cleanliness of the entire home, to the pristine pool in the backyard, the huge garage space and option to rent their golf cart, and close proximity to food and the beach, it’s overwhelming to list all of the amazing things this unit had to offer! Thank you Caleb for being a most welcoming host, and we plan to come back and stay at the Kraken next time we visit IRB!
