It’s elegantly constructed and furnished and has ocean and mountain views. Experience exceptional quality with honed black granite counter tops, custom cabinetry, a Sub Zero refrigerator, a Wolf 6 burner range, oven, and a built-in office nook.
Waterworks fixtures, and Cumaru hardwood floors. The house has two covered wood decks with ocean and mountain views for outdoor living and dining. The Main Suite bedroom features a huge walk in wet room with shower and separate soaking tub, double sinks and a king bed. The two guest bedrooms both have queen beds and a shared Jack and Jill bathroom. Enjoy the ocean breeze and the natural beauty of Kauai from this elegant island home. The landscaping is well maintained with lush tropical trees and flowers.
This home is just steps from the beach and minutes from the world famous Na Pali Coast.
Almost every room faces the ocean, is well furnished and will definitely make your stay a pleasurable one. Hale Koaniani is located on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This great vacation home is just a short walk to Tunnels Beach and about a 10 minute drive takes you to Hanalei town for shopping and dining opportunities. The home is perfect for you to sit, relax and enjoy your Kauai vacation.
Amenities also include: High Speed WiFi Internet, Gas Barbecue Grill. Both bedrooms on the ocean side of the house offer Smart TVs for streaming. Cable is not provided, offering you a unique opportunity to unwind and unplug during your stay.

We stayed here for our 30th anniversary and are so glad we did! The home is lovely and we slept so well with the calming and soothing sounds of the ocean. Loved that we could walk right from the property on to the beach for walks or to relax on beach towels. We were sad to leave but hope to make it back again very soon!

A Piece of Paradise

Hale Koaniani was an incredible property for our family to experience the north shore of Kawaii. It was tastefully decorated, well stocked, and thoroughly cleaned. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck, enjoying the Hawaiian breeze. We also loved our time at the beach and even shared the sand one day with a local Hawaiian monk seal!

The most amazing house we have ever rented!

Absolutely loved our time in this beautiful home. Tropical plants and birds out front, tranquil ocean views out back, fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, amazing master bath. Comes with all the beach equipment you need. Can walk to tunnels from your backyard and beach out back was great for hours of exploration. 20 mins to Hanalei - this was absolute perfection. We never wanted to leave.

Pacific tranquility

Beautiful property. Walking distance to Tunnels. Ability to wake up to sunrise over the ocean is a gift. You will sleep with sound of the ocean. Shampoo and conditioner not provided but all else is. Well stocked and beautiful kitchen.

Great stay in Haena

Loved the property and location! Property managers were very helpful when I had a few special needs. They were super responsive and helpful! Overall a wonderful 5 star experience! Only thing I would say to prospective vacationers is be prepared for no air conditioning if you are sensitive to heat/humidity. The house is nice and breezy with doors and windows open though and with the fans. We did lose power one night and without the fans it was hot!

Private Oceanside retreat

We are two tried professional couples, one of whom travels frequently to Kauai. This house is well furnished and would be comfortable for 6. A bit remote from grocery shopping, so stock up on your way there. Ready access to world class beaches (it's a minimal beach out the back yard}. Comfortable deck with great ocean view. We typically cook a lot. The kitchen was will stocked with dinnerware and utensils. Our only issue was a finicky Wolf stove that required our attention.

We were pleasantly surprised to find all the accessories for a day on the beach for use ( cooler, towels, shade tent, sandcastle building tools etc.). We were able to prepare great meals in this wonderful kitchen. The less than a mile walk to tunnels beach was convenient and provided us privacy. I'm grateful for this rental to allow us to experience living in Kauai instead of a hotel experience.

My check did not arrive for quite awhile (thanks to USPS) but they were accommodating and kept in touch. The communication was good and reminders were sent throughout our stay. The house is beautiful and nicely furnished, located in a slice of heaven. My family instantly felt relaxed upon arrival. We can stare at the view all day! Tunnels Beach is about a 5-minute drive or a 15-minute walk on the beach, though parking can be difficult between 10-3.The property is located in a town further west from Hanalei, about a 15-minutes drive. So be sure you stock up on the house needs prior to arrival either in Princeville or Hanalei, as there are no stores nearby and places close at scattered times, sometimes early, and the house does not provide any basic toiletries.

The location is perfect with tall natural Hawaiian hedges provide privacy, the view from the lanai is perfect to watch whales and waves.Clean and comfortable! The home is well maintained with awesome Koa wood flooring, excellent kitchen and wet room showers with awesome water pressures! Short walk to Tunnels Beach , which IS one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!The beach out front may not be a swimming beach , but then there is more privacy , as no one is there.The beach out front is an excellent beach to view sunrises and sunsets!The short drive back into Hanalei for shopping and restaurants is picturesque.The property managers are helpful and provide excellent customer service.After seeing our pictures of vacation, our friends and family want to visit this location!We have stayed in this quiet neighborhood for almost 30 years, some times at other houses. But since we found this property, we have not stayed anywhere else!My wife feels safe and comfortable there...and that is priceless to me.

The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped; the views are stunning (front and back); and the support from Jane and Hailey at NaPali Properties is pleasant and professional. There are plenty of excursions and/or day trips nearby (Hanalei, Kilauea Lighthouse, Limahouli Gardens, Kalalau Trail, etc.), but reading and relaxing at Hale Koaniani has its own special charms, too! It was, and remains, our ‘happy place’.
