Hakuna Matata Lakefront is perfect for everyone. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear steps to the lake and just a short drive to the slopes, Village, and more! Modern aesthetics meet mountain charm in this gorgeous two-story home with central heating.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 3500+ sq ft home with living room, TV, ceiling fans, dining table, bar seating, beautiful wood burning fireplaces, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 4 bedroom, 3 bath. Upstairs master bedroom has a king bed, TV, DVD player, bath, and deck. Upstairs second bedroom has a king bed and TV. Downstairs third bedroom has a king bed, TV, and bath. Upstairs fourth bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and bath. Game room has a queen/twin bunk and 2 roll a way beds. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Six burner stove, double oven, double door refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, rice cooker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, hot cocoa maker, popcorn maker, crockpot, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Game room with ping pong table, shuffleboard, and pool table! Board games and card games. TVs with Direct TV, NFL Sunday Ticket, and fast WiFi. Relax near the many cozy wood burning fireplaces. Laundry room with side-by-side washer/dryer.

OUTDOORS - Full badminton court. Gas barbecue, patio furniture, and picnic tables. Enjoy the large backyard and back deck! Stairs directly to the lake and a small launching ramp for water activities. This home also includes a boat dock on the lake that guests are more than welcome to enjoy!

The lake levels vary throughout the year and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your stay.

Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Hakuna Matata Lakefront

Stayed with family over Superbowl weekend and couldn't have been more pleased with the location and property overall! Great game room/hangout area for the whole family to have fun, amazing scenic view of the lake with plenty of space for the kids to play outside, and great location close to Big Bear Village and other local restaurants as well as being very central to local ski resorts. Will be staying here again in the future!

Great Place, Responsive Service, but Owner Showed Up Twice

The place was great! Beautiful lake front property with all the amenities you need for a fun, relaxing weekend. Cools Cabins was very responsive. I do want to mention, however, we did not appreciate who I presume was the owner showing up at the property two mornings in a row to work on his jet skis in the driveway.

Despite of our down stair dinning table almost falling apart while having dinner and power going out twice, Overall my family enjoyed the stayed. Perfect games for our teenage kids and plenty of space down stairs for our twin babies to play around.

Family Fun

3 generations spent 4 days at this lovely mountain get away. The house is incredible, filled with charm and amenities like pool table, ping pong, corn hole, volleyball net, outside chairs and boat dock. (Water level low, so had some challenge getting to clear water but we made it work). The house is huge with well equipped kitchen and areas for rest and play. Our 5 granddaughters enjoyed the bunk room and free WiFi was a special bonus. The sun rises were incredible and the patios and outside deck with bbq allowed us some good quality family time. Thank you!

Thanksgiving

Property was nice but a bit dated. Next door there is a full remodel happening and workers started at 7:30am sharp the day after Thanksgiving till 5pm. Not as peaceful as would hope for.

Views are amaxing!

Family trip to Big Bear was perfect with this home. Had plenty of room for our large family to hang out and felt very comfy. The views of the lake are ridiculous. Huge patio for our whole family to hangout and just a couple steps from the lake. Overall great stay. Thanks for letting us stay in this home.
