The perfect spot for a multi-family vacation or group retreat, our 3BR/3BA house is in the desirable Lost Colony community, and features community pool access and a private boardwalk to the beach.The perfect spot for a multi-family vacation or group retreat, our 3BR/3BA house is in the desirable Lost Colony community, and features community pool access and a private boardwalk to the beach. Also enjoy an expansive deck area with views of a sweeping green lawn, plus a shaded patio! The downstairs room is separate from the upstairs. You have to walk outside up the stairs to get to the rest of the home.

INSIDE THE HOUSE
The whole group can kick up their heels in the beachy open-concept living area, with canted ceilings and lots of entertainment. Watch a film on the TV, or just relax while you discuss the day’s plans—that is, if your plans go beyond lounging on the beach! Catch some extra rays on one of the Adirondack chairs on the deck, where you can peer at the ocean in the distance.

The full kitchen is open to the living space, making it easy to keep an eye on the kids or keep the conversation flowing while you prepare a meal. Enjoy your meals at the dining table with seating for 6, or at the picnic benches on either the upper deck or the shaded patio.

As for sleeping quarters, Mom, Dad, and the grandparents can rest easy in the upstairs master suite and 2nd bedroom while the kids have a grand time in their private lower unit apartment. Between the full bunk beds, daybed, and futon, there’s room for 7 to sleep comfortably there.

Great location but outdated and dirty

This listing is in dire need of some major deep cleaning, updated furniture, mattresses, bedding, ceiling fans (broken in master and loud and squeaky in living room) etc.. They also need to restock with essential cleaning items and cooking items. The location is GREAT and we’d definitely stay in this area again, but a more updated and cleaner property.

The check in process was excellent. In general it was a good property to stay at for the location. The home itself was very outdated. It was generally clean, but we had to preclean all of the kitchen items before we could use them. The dining table felt sticky. The dishwasher had standing water in it and an odor. The second tub/shower had zero water pressure. And under the furniture was not cleaned, so dust bunnies were all over. One of the blankets downstairs had holes in it. On the positive, the bathrooms, kitchen and beds were clean and comfortable. The location was amazing. We had a wonderful family vacation.

Disappointing Stay

This property was very run down and dirty. There was a layer of thick dust and grime on everything and under everything. There was hair on our sheets even though the property managers assured us it had been cleaned 4 days prior. The kitchen wasn't nearly as stocked as every other VRBO we have been to, the furniture and towels were dingy, shower curtain liner was corroded, etc. It was very disappointing for the amount that we paid to stay. Would not stay again. Honestly think the owners must be deleting bad reviews. There is no way this place has a score of "8".The only plus was that location is great and the houses on the street were nice.
