Hi there, We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the space and especially the fire pit out back — it’s a guest favorite for relaxing evenings. We appreciate your stay and hope to host you again soon! Best,Eric
Good location. The area was perfect for going to the Saye Parks and wineries. Stairs going down to the unit was scary, especially using them at night.

Hi there, We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the location and found it convenient for exploring the parks and wineries — it’s one of the reasons many guests love staying here. The stairs are standard for homes of this style, but we understand they can feel steep at night. We’ve added extra lighting and clear markings to make them easier to navigate for future guests. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and for staying with us! Best,Eric

Super peaceful, well lit abode, super clean had plenty of dishes and a dishwasher and we all really enjoyed ourselves while there. I would definitely stay again and am excited to see you the upstairs unit as well.
My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and cozy with a full kitchen which we needed. The beds were so comfortable and it was nice to have 2 full baths. This was a great landing pad for all kinds of activities in Ithaca and at the national parks!

Hi there,We’re glad you found the stay comfortable overall. Our property is designed primarily for adult guests seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway, which is why it’s not specifically set up for children. We understand that might not suit everyone, but it helps us maintain a calm, peaceful environment for all guests. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope you enjoyed the surroundings.Best,Eric
Overall we had a good experience and it was decorated nicely. Beds were comfortable and it was nice that bedding and towels were provided. One of the showers had some weird film around the drain and it was super dark trying to shower. But again overall we had a nice stay. The owners were very communicative and extremely helpful providing options for things to do in the area.

We were visiting Cornell for college tours and it was a great location. Close enough to campus to have meals at the dining hall and a wonderful jumping off point for visiting tourist sites like Corning. Overall just like the listing.
Great place that met all or needs. Close to Ithaca , Cornell. Spacious with nice big back yard, great for the dogs .
Host was really helpful with questions , would definitely recommend.
This property is conveniently located minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cayuga Lake and all the wineries. It had all amenities I needed. It also had a great outdoor space with a firepit. The only issue I had was the keypad to get in the front door. But the owners were immediately available by phone and got me in quickly.
Needed a place close to Ithaca and this was perfect. Plenty of room for the three of us, and the place was exactly as advertised. Great communication and an all-around positive experience

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
This was not at all like the photos. It was dirty, with disgusting bathrooms, saftey issues with the wiring, a dirty stove, smelly half-burned logs in the fireplace, etc, etc. There was rug on the wall. There were missing smoke alarms. There were bugs everywhere. The heat was not working properly which was never fixed. The house smelled of mold, and to their credit the owners sent air purifiers to help. I have never been so disappointed with a rented place.

This is just a sad review, from a sad group of people. From entering, David and guest were looking for a refund. They said the heat wasn't working but wouldn't allow me to send anyone to fix it. They said it was dirty but my cleaners provide photos after every turn showcasing that it was fully turned over.
Clearly, David could not afford the rent. I have to assume he's fallen on hard financial times and is looking to scam a hard-working property owner.
Sad people like David exist.
A group of five of us, mature ladies came from all corners of Pennsylvania and even Boston to celebrate our friend who is getting married at the end of May. The home is split into an upstairs and downstairs unit. We had the downstairs and it was cozy, decorated nicely, Had a beautiful outside area, and was in short driving distance to all of the activities and events that we wanted to participate, our hosts were very communicative throughout the entire process. And this is a place that I would definitely like to stay here again.
Very comfortable house for 4-5 adults. Communication with the host was always very prompt.Sauna in the backyard was a nice feature.Easy parking in the driveway for two cars, and a third car parked on the grass off to the side of the driveway. The shower in the second bathroom is a bit smaller than average, but is certainly adequate. There is another unit above this one, but we didn’t encounter excessive noise coming from above.Definitely had a pleasant experience.

Hi there,
We’re glad the house was comfortable for your group and that prompt communication and the backyard sauna added to your stay. Parking can be a bit tight with three cars, but we appreciate you making it work. The second bathroom shower is smaller by design, but we’re happy it met your needs. Noise from the upstairs unit is usually minimal, and we’re glad it didn’t impact your visit. Thanks for the feedback and for choosing to stay with us.Best,Eric

We're two childhood friends who had the crazy idea of buying a lakehouse together.
I'm Eric, I'm who you'll likely be chatting with at most times. Just know that my partner Justin is also available. Should you not reach me, you can always reach out to him. Together, we make up PapiBNB.
This house is years in the making. We've always dreamed about having an escape away from the East Coast pace where we could just relax and unwind, even for a long weekend. After years of planning, we were finally able to do it.
We agonized about every detail of to make it feel like your home away from home. And we hope it's a stay you'll never forget.
Why they chose this property
Newly renovated home designed with you in mind. We designed every corner of this home to fit the needs of our guest. And we're constantly improving. Open spaces and fun communal outside area make this a great place to stay. We are close to the lake and downtown Ithaca. Unit 1 is truly a special apartment.
What makes this property unique
Sitting on nearly an acre of land, we tried to make it the most tranquil place we could imagine. inside and outside.
Location. Location. Location.
The accessibility to so many different aspects of the greater Ithaca area, from hikes, trails, vineyards, breweries, restaurants and that's before even mentioning downtown Ithaca.
